A:  Ed, the grass catcher connects to the deck with a plastic, molded boot that hooks on with a bungee type strap and then the bagger frame attaches to the back of the mower frame with included hardware. The instructions come with the bagger for this unit, part number 73602000.

Q:What replacement battery does it take?

              Answer This Question

A:  The battery is a 12 volt 30 amp battery. I would recommend using a minimum of 230 cold cranking amps. Most battery stores will charge you a core charge on batteries. I would suggest bringing the old battery in when you replace it. This will make sure that you get the correct size battery but also may save you the additional core charge.

                Q:Does it have alternator

                Answer This Question

A:  I'm sure there is a charging system that should keep the battery charged as the tractor is running. There is no gauge to show that the charging system is in fact working. The starter could also be the problem if it is not cranking the engine as it should.

                by|Nov 16, 2015

A:  Yes, the engine does have an alternator to recharge the battery while the mower is running.

A:  This tractor has a mow in reverse feature. If your key is set in the mow in reverse feature you can mow while in the reverse position. If the key is not set in the proper position, the unit will stall as you have indicated. The is a picture icon on the dashboard next to the key that indicates the mow in reverse position. The unit should be able to go forward and reverse in any position as long as the blade is not engaged.

A:  Make sure you have the ignition key in the correct position. It has to be in the position next to off to be able to go in reverse with the blade engaged. The engine will shutdown if it is not there. If that does not correct the problem, you may have a safety switch that is not engaging properly.

A:  I'm not exactly sure of your question -- I am not aware of a weight limit, however, must say I have not read the operator's manual in detail.
