A:  Hi Bonnie, thanks for reaching out. We have quite a few post options, depending on your installation and style preferences. The Coronado Black with Antique Nickel Accents has a 4" x 10" predrilled hole pattern on the bottom of the mailbox that is compatible with the following in-ground posts models: 5525B, 5515B, 6215B, 7511B-10, 7510B-10, 7507B, and 7516B-10, as well as the 5526B surface mount post. Each post varies in price, material and size, but none of these posts need additional accessories. A:  No, this can not be mounted on a 6" cedar post.

A:  Hello Laurie, Thank you so much for reaching out! As is, the two items will not mount together properly. However, there are two options to make this work. The first option you have would be to purchase the 3-Way 4x4 Adapter Plate (item no. 7540B) and alter your post so the bottom of the adapter fits over it. The second option would be to buy a small piece of wood to mount to the top of your post so the top of the post is large enough to fit the hole pattern on the mailbox.
