Answer This Question
A: We are 3rd party certified at a 'dry' weight of 300lbs on a 3" disk. The water and the bathers weight, would be distributed over a much larger surface area.

A: This can hold approximately 600 lbs of weight.

Answer This Question
A: I can give you the approximate weight of the water when the tub is full...but you will have to add in the body weight to get your number. This tub will hold 57 gals to the overflow mark and the avg gallon is approximately 8.3 lbs = 473.1 lbs. for the water. The tub is approximately 84lbs for a total of 557.1lbs

Answer This Question
A: The drain hole is cut at 2" diameter. I do not have the Drains available through Home Depot, but they will be able to help you in the isle to find a Drain and/or DWO Kit that will fit your needs.

Q:I purchased this tub and was surprised that it did NOT include the overflow hole. It would be difficult to cut the hole and because of the fiberglass backing would be next to impossible to preclude leaks.
Secondly, standard drain device flanges are too large to fit. For example, I have a 2-3/4 diameter flange and it hits the sides of the drain hole and does not drop into the recessed area. What size does fit??? I notice that a question was asked about this and the answer was that a standard size drain flange would fit.

Answer This Question
A: If this was special ordered, I would recommend returning the unit so that you can receive one with the overflow already drilled. The backside of the unit will be sanded giving a better fit for the Overflow kit. As for the kit you purchase, it will recommend to apply Plumbers Putty or Silicone to the backside of the drain before tightening the nut, this will give you a water tight seal.
