A: Howdy hydro, These will work for any plant indoors and outdoors. happy gardening, Coach Dave
A: I would use plant nanny instead. These globes don't hold enough water.
A: They seem to work on every plant except orchids & cacti for some reason
A: no
A: Yes , but how big is the Bush. You might need another watering system . I would ask the Home Depot Nursery Person.
A: I used larger ones in all pots for all plants and flowers more often than small for small and large for large. Larger waters longer than small and one can almost forget about them.
A: Yes , but I also water them really well because of heat.
A: from my experience it doesn't matter the type of plant. I basically use them as a back up plan in case i forget to water or if i am out of town. This way if i miss - my plant will still get the water it needs. I use these on my in and out door plants.
A: The bigger ones are better for bigger plants. I have mine in fairly large indoor houseplants and the plants kind of hide the globes. You could use the bigger ones in smaller pots, I suppose, but they would be way more noticeable. I wish Home Depot sold the mini aqua globes for those smaller plants.
A: Love for my house plants & in my potted plants on the patio. Immediately wrap 3'" wide electrical tape around the very end, otherwise, does break if push too hard to insert. Dont use on my mother-in-law's tongue to avoid overwatering, Ferns are toooo messy for me; dont have them. In my rock garden outside, the plastic water spikes & 20 oz soda bottles work better for me.
A: I have them in my hanging plant's and they are flourishing.
A: I would buy a few packages and spread them out according to the size of your planter.
A: I really don't think so, they are glass and with a bed that large, you'd probably have to refill them more than once a day
A: Not good for outdoor plants. Best used for indoor plants.
A: yes, but you may need a couple to fully cover the bed
A: Each globe holds about 1 1/2 cups of water.
A: maybe 3/4 ounces
A: The globes hold approximately 2 cups of water.
A: about 8 oz
A: Enough to water for 2 weeks (stated on the box)
A: spout
A: Yes, through the spout. But there is no way to regulate flow.
A: Yes to the spout. As you insert the spout it get plugged by some dirt but no worries they will get the water they need.
A: Through the long neck. The flow can not be adjusted.
A: These are very difficult to fill. A funnel may be helpful but it would need to be a very small exit on the funnel.
A: I just filled mine in my kitchen sink under slow water flow.
A: Globes are filled with a small stream of water into the stem and the stem is inserted into soil. As for adjusting the stream, the soil takes care of that... When the soil is dry, it releases oxygen. When the oxygen goes into the stem, it creates an air bubble in the globe and this forces water out. It will only release the amount of water it needs. It's pretty cool.
A: No
A: Hold the spout end under the kitchen water faucet at an angle til full.
A: through the spout
How can we help?
