        A:  I would check the notches. This model fits a particular notch set up. Was easy to install myself. But it is from an older model.

          Q:I am building a new shower. I would like to buy a trim and valve together. Is that possible? I don't know what the differences are between the 5 different recommended valves. I'm not married to this trim kit, so if you know of something that comes with the valve or just has one option for valve, can you please let me know? Thx!

                Q:Does the handle lift or rotate? Some pictures appears to show rotation but this main picture does not. From other research it appears the Cadet model levers, the Colony model rotates. This says Colony but appears to be a Cadet. (I need the Cadet, lever model).

                A:  The handle pulls out for volume and then rotates left and right for hot or cold water.

                    Q:The screw was taken out the handle but the handle still will not come off so i can replace the valve.

                    A:  Twin - Once the set screw is removed from the handle, the handle will simply pull off. There may be some hard water mineral build up which isn't allowing it to be removed easily, but the set screw is the only thing holding the handle on. Once the handle is removed the cartridge and pressure balance unit will be exposed which is what likely needs replaced.

                          Q:I am buying the American Standard Chatfield sink faucet Model#7413801.295 in brushed nickel. It's for a shower stall so I don't need the faucet part & I have my own special shower head so I really only need the handle. Would this product match ok with that other model? I know the Chatfield line only comes in a kit & I only need one out of the 3 pieces. Please advise.

                          A:  The T675.500 Colony does not have a handle that is very similar to the Chatfield 7413.801 lavatory faucet.
