Q:I have a sink stopper with a screw at the bottom that has a hole to old the pivot rod and the matching drain cap screws in at the top. The bottom screw broke. Is there any way to tell what replacement part I need? thanks

        A:  The o-ring does not have its own separate part number, since it comes pre-installed around the stopper. The stopper would need to be ordered to get the o-ring.

          Q:I have a speed connect drain with a worn out rubber o-ring.  The o-ring is about 1.25" in diameter.  I'm not sure if this is "worn out" size or not, as it is pretty badly stretched.  Can I just replace the o-ring and if so, what is the part number?

              Q:I am wondering if this M962544-0020A part will work for any speed connect drain... My current drain is using a grey stopper with grey cam, this one is black. Are the two interchangeable as long as you change both the stopper and cam assembly?

                Q:I have a Hampton installed in the bathroom. The sink does not drain well at all. It seems the stopper does not elevate high enough when the cam rotates. If I pop the bubble, the sink drains fine. How can I get the stopper to open more? T

                A:  Our suggestions are to 1. Disconnect the cable from the cam assembly 2. Turn the cam to the right so that the stopper is all of the way up. You may need to prop the stopper up. 3. Push the lift rod all of the way down. 4. Attach the cable to the cam assembly.

                      A:  In order for us to better assist you we would need your faucet model number, because of you have the plastic speed connect drain the metal one above will not work. To find your model number, the model number should be located on your receipt, installation instructions, or information book which came with your model. If you are not sure of your model or series number, then you will need to look on our American Standard website at www.americanstandard-us.com. Look under the Kitchen Faucets or Bathroom Faucets and find the one that identifies your model (note the color may be different). Double click on the small picture, and it will expand into a larger one. Scroll down on the left-hand side and under the DOWNLOADS tab should be spec sheets, installation instructions or a repair parts diagram. Click on one of these files and look for the model or series number at the top of the page. If your model has several, just choose the first four-digit number.

                        A:  You would need to purchase the complete drain. It is part number M953465-0020A. The stopper itself no longer is available.
