Q:Water from my tank is leaking into bowl. Replaced flush value assembly with American standard parts and still is happening. Toilet is 4021 American Standard 3".

        Q:Folks have 3 A Std floor mount toilets in , , had a leak ie toilets kept running, went out bought valve /flapper kits, fluidmaster, still had leak from tank to bowl, went and bought, new flappers by korky, still have leak from tank to bowl, any ideas jeff

              Q:Have 6 Lpf, 4266 tank with 3 5/8 diameter hole. Replacing "Champion 4 Toilet Universal Flush Valve" Model: 3174.105-0070A, gasket on the champion model will not allow flush contact between tank and bowl, too wide or too thick. Tank rocks. Suggestion?

              A:  Greenj, Thank you for reaching out to American Standard. You are correct and these gaskets are thicker. However, if you loosen the tank back up and starting on the left side rotate a quarter turn and then go to the right side and do the same and then alternate back and forth this should take care of it. It takes a little longer but it pulls the tank straight down onto the gasket and bowl. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
