Q:How wide and deep is the interior channel? Can it be fitted over 3 2x6 ? I am looking to cover a beam that is made with 3 2x6 Thanks

    Q:Hollow Faux Wood beams 1) Are they suited to cover frail existing beams that first need termite treatment, and 2) are they suited to give additional support? The existing Beam is approximately 2 x 5; the Rafters 3" deep 2" wide from the canek type "drywall surface / the house is 60-70 years old. (I am only guessing the dimensions by looking up).

          Q:The product listing page shows the sample piece as U shaped. The picture of the full length beam shows it as a solid square or rectangle, depending on the size. Which is it? I need to better understand what I am getting, so I can plan the installation. You should show pictures from different angles so this is clear. I have showed this to my carpenter, and he is mystified as well. I don't want to order until I have more information.

          A:  All Beams are "U" shaped. However, one end on the beam is closed. The other end is Open. Samples are mostly sent Open on both sides.
