Q:Looks like this one requires a gasket (comes with fixture) and silicone sealant. I have never seen an install where both gasket and silicone at the same time. I have always thought the gasket to be "flimsy" and cheap made. input would be awesome!

A:  Please note that the silicone caulk around the edges of the cover plate to provide a watertight seal from rain and moisture.         Q:Bought two and they do not work -only in test mode. Installed another brand and no issue. This apparently only detects HEAT large animals... Waved my hand in front of it and nothing happens. Should have bought all normal motion detectors

        A:  Please note urn sensitivity light knob to desired location. Turn knob closer to “moon symbol” for light to turn on (with motion) at night or turn closer to “T” for light to start detecting motion at dusk.
