      Q:I have a 1950s style rounded edge peninsula, it has the half round shelves underneath as well, does this bend around shapes like this easily? Even if the lip is at the bottom, I?m just worried it won?t cover the flat surface of a standard counter edge.

        Q:Will this cover the entire flat edge of a standard flat edge counter top? Even if the lip is under side or top side on the top surface of the counter top.

        A:  Thank you for your inquiry, Jamie. This metal grooved edging moulding will cover most standard 3/4" and 1-1/2" countertops. The inside dimensions are 1-33/64 inches. Hope this helps you on your project.

          A:  Depending on your application you can do either.  I did several around the top of a counter(lip up) and also did the reverse on the bottom (lip down) of the same 6 inch wide (top to bottom height) counter.  Made to go either way.

                A:  I wouldn’t trust gluing, this is a decent gauge of aluminum, I think is too heavy for glue to hold over any length of time. Especially if using in a high use/traffic area.

                      A:  I used some glue along the table edge 1st, and then secured with small screws. I predrilled holes in the metal band 1st.
