Questions and Answers for Agri-Fab 26 in. Push Lawn Sweeper

A:  I bought it for my wife. She didn’t like it. She said it threw the small leaves out in front instead of back. I adjusted and readjusted so it collects dust now. 

A:  The sweeper was designed to sweep leaves and grass clippings. They have been used on artificial turf the brush just barley sweeps across the turf.. Please keep in mind that the brushes should never be put low enough to touch the ground. If the brushes are placed on the ground you risk stripping the wheels.

A:  You must mow over them first and it will pick up some, but most likely not all. It was designed to sweep up grass clipping and leaves. Thank you.

A:  Yes it will pick up pine cones. 

A:  It is designed to sweep leaves and grass clipping that lay on top of the grass. You should never have the brushes on the ground they should always be only 1/2 in into the tip of the grass. Thank you for your interest in Agri-Fab products.

A:  We have customers who use this unit on artificial turf. It seems to do ok by the information we have received. Please be aware that the brushes should not be put down low enough to touch the ground at any time. Thank you.

A:  I use mine primarily for pine needles and pinecone, but there is some occasional litter than does get scooped up with it. I would expect it would depend on the size and weight of objects. As with the needles and cones, it doesn't get 100% picked up, so don't expect it to collect all debris. As for broken glass, that seems like it would be a greater hazard to attempt to pickup with this. It tends to fling some objects which would be a hazard as well as it would be a risk for emptying the collection bag with broken glass pieces in it. I wouldn't recommend it for glass at all.

A:  For the light items, yes. For the heavy, broken glass, no. It doesn't have enough power to lift the heavy items into the bin. This is powered by pushing. It does have gears that increase the speed but I tried it with acorns on a concrete driveway. Mixed results. Leaves as long as they are not wet are great.

A:  It picks up leaves well. However, I know that it will not pick up pinecones. I do not know about broken glass, cigarette butts, plastic. It will pick up small twigs, pine straw, etc. Perhaps if set correctly, it could pick up cigarette butts. It may pick up small pieces of broken glass. You would have to pick up the large pieces.

A:  I did not have any of these issues with assembling mine. It assembled fairly easily and adjusts height without issue.

A:  I don't why the bolts didn't fit mine did. I agree with you that the frame is too flimsy & the handle has too much flex in it. The collection bag is also flimsy & should be made of sturdier or stronger material than what is provided.
