        A:  I am unsure. It does come in black. The steel is really nice. It does not adjust, as it stays in place after you assemble it. It is a great lamp, sturdy and perfect for a dining area. It gives the proper amount of light. We love it.

                  Q:Where is the foot switch located? Is it on the base or on the cord (and if so, how far from the base)?. In our situation the lamp will be behind furniture and a switch on the base would not be accessible. Thanks!
