A: Yes, they can be raised and lowered by grabbing the bottom bar and lifting or pulling.

A: Yes, raising and lowering works well - just grab the bottom bar and raise or lower the blinds. There isn't a button, so the mechanism must be internal, but the blinds stop where you want them to. Adjusting the angle of the blinds without a wand is tricky. You manipulate the bottom bar to change the angle. I didn't care for this and wouldn't recommend using in a room where you'd want to adjust the blinds daily.

A: The Deluxe Sundown Room Darkening Mini Blind can be raised and lowered by lifting the bottom bar. To open and close the blinds you can use the tilt wand to let in desired light.

A: very easy as when you pull them down you just lift alittle and they open and pull down and they close the slats.

A: Maybe - If installing inside the window frame, the brackets for these blinds are mounted on the top, away from the edges, and the blind header snaps into them. Previous Blinds installed with brackets on each end of the header would need new hardware. I have purchased two different sets of blinds recently, both of which had top-mounting brackets, but the blinds did not snap-in the same.

A: Yes, all of our blinds come 1/2" narrower than the stated size. These blinds can fit a window 3/8" (0.95cm) smaller and 1/2" (1.27cm) wider than the stated size.
