A:  This is a rather straightforward, outdoor lamp post that is 3" in diameter, or 3" wide as the Homer webpage describes it. It easily attaches to lamps with 3" diameter fitters and I suspect it would work with other objects that were meant to attach to a 3" diameter post.

A:  I only see a 7' version of this particular post but a commercial grade post is available that is 8' tall. Both are Acclaim Lighting brand.
