A:  No. I used clear dap. If your drain has screw holes buy one with screw hole otherwise use just a little clear dap so it is easy to remove if you need to remove it.

A:  Hi Gus, the drain you are asking about is brass under the finish of brushed nickel. Brass is a good quality metal when used around water. However all metal will eventually show some rust over time. This Moen product has a great warranty. All you have to do is register the product. If you want additional information from Moen you can call 1-800-289-6635, 8am-8pm EST. M-F and 9am-5:30 pm Saturday.

A:  Stainless Steel is best for not rusting. One key is keeping it clean. You will still get water marks and soap residue

A:  This is brushed nickel coating on brass which will not rust like chrome
