A:  I have this drain cover and can say "no" it doesn't catch my fine hair. I placed a finer mesh on top of this to capture my thin hair. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the Moen drain exactly, and so I am still in search of something to help it catch more hair.

Moen cannot guarantee the screws will fit this product because there is a raised portion behind the drain cover to snap in for installation. A:  No, the use of screws is not required (or an option) on this item. There are 4 prongs that simply (and snug) just pop into place.

A:  This item IS brushed nickel. There could be a color distortion on your computer screen/tablet/mobile device. If you need brushed brass, then you do not want this.

A:  I would say it’s actually between a brushed brass and brushed nickel. I have the Kohler fixtures in Vibrant Brushed Bronze and it’s pretty close to that color- maybe a little more nickel but the best match I could find. It’s definitely not brushed brass.

A:  It is more gold/brass tinged than usual brushed nickel but mine wasnt as gold as this picture makes it out to be. Being away from the other brushed nickel hardware in the shower, you dont really notice it. I think of you are looking for a brushed brass finish then this would do the trick, it is not shiny but more of a matte finish.

A:  It is brushed nickel

A:  Just from my experience, Moen's version of brushed nickel does appear to have a little bit of a gold hue to it, but not as much as shown in the picture. I bought this drain cover to match the other brushed nickel Moen products that I have in my bathroom. I found that it does closely match. In my opinion, the drain cover does not look like brushed brass when viewing it in person. It just looks like Moen's normal brushed nickel. Hope this helps.

A:  No it comes as brushed nickel. It does not look as shown. It matches all of my Moen brushed nickel.
