This style of enclosure provides protection against falling rain, sleet, snow, and external ice formation. Indoors they protect against dripping water. A:  No. This is a 240V single phase disconnect switch. The main purpose of the switch is to disconnect power only. It is not a Circuit Breaker or used for any other purpose other than disconnecting power - you'll void manufacturer warranty and make the switch non code compliant if you add anything to the disconnect. Recommend you having a CB that is GFCI. Your Neutral can pass through this disconnect from the breaker box to final location if your using a 4 wire 240V system. Use the Grounding bar for grounding only. You'll need to ground it to be code compliant.

A:  You will need to verify with your Spa company manual the electrical requirements. Typically they require a GFI breaker. Square D does NOT offer a 2-pole, 60amp, GFI branch breaker, therefore a 60amp version of the Spa-Pak would NOT be available. The 60A does not have a load neutral connection. Regards, Customer Care

A:  Physically, yes it can handle a 220v 60 amp disconnect requirement. However, you must check your NEC and local codes for any SPA-specific requirements; for example, this if not GFI protected.

A:  Yes, ALL of the Fusible and Non-Fusible Pullout type AC Disconnects have been obsolete since 2008. There are NO direct replacements, but for devices that can be used for AC Disconnect applications see the current Enclosed Molded Case Switches or Enclosed Circuit Breaker Devices QO200TRNM can be used but will require overcurrent protection upstream as it is a molded case switch and does not offer OCP.
