A:  I'm not near the shed to measure the door, the shed is in another State. The frame is 10' wide. the door has to be very close to 10' wide, if not 10' wide.

Q:I know the dimensions that are listed but I'm putting it in a tight area (if it will fit) can you tell me if the outside length might be an actual 9 ft 9" or something rather than a full 10ft? Has anyone done an actual measure? I can probably only fit in if a little under 10ft. Thanks in advance people!

A:  Hi Jim, The 10ft dimension for the length is taken from center of pipe to center of pipe. The pipe is 1 3/8th in diameter so it is actually slightly longer then 10ft. Thank you

              by|May 5, 2023

A:  I built mine and you can make it a little over or a little under depending where and how you ancore it. I haven’t done an exact measurement but I was able to move mine about 4” in or out depending for leveling.

                  Perfect for the application
I recently got a hot tub and placed it ten feet from my back door. Because it's winter, I wanted to cover it. I had made a ten-by-ten frame of wood for the crushed stone under the tub and got this Shed-in-a-box to put over the tub, screwed to the wooden frame. Perfect fit and I love how it's covered from the weather when I am in the hot tub! Because of the actual application, a vent would have been something that would be helpful, but I know the Shed wasn't designed for the humidity I am subjecting it to, so that will be a DIY project.

                    Modified to make even better!
Went the curved roof this time. The other model held out as long as it could, but the snow load here was too much. Harvested parts of frame and did everything ShelterLogic should do, but doesn’t. Reinforced the back with a cross beam. Added cross beams on sides and roof. Still have left over parts in case repairs or xtra support needed. Mods really stiffened up the frame. And a little makeshift floor from pallets and left over plywood!

                      Excellent storage
Love our new 10x10x8 Shed in a box. We suggest at least three people to help assemble . Not all numbers were readable.on the poles but because we have owned one before we knew what we were doing. My Sister & Brother-in-law are now going to order one!!

                      Poor Cover Quality
Very disappointed with this product, lasted less than a year in the Phx weather before the cover dried out and tore.

Failure in 9 MONTHS! Purchase went great. Lightning fast delivery. Easiest of assembly. Everything fit perfectly. Loved the new storage space. HOWEVER....bought in Feb 2018. Due to scheduling, was not able to assemble/setup until Sept 2018. By June 2019, (9 months later!!!), the main central cover had already splitting in several places. When I went to test its strength, a gentle push with my finger POPPED right threw the "Ripstop" fabric with ease. But wait, I have a 1 year warranty. NNNNNNNnnnnnnooo! 1 year from purchase, not 1 year after being assembled. So all of the advertised "•Ripstop fabric is UV treated...…." is a clear mis-representation of the products lasting capability! BE WARNED!!! NO.....this product does not meet my expectations.

                          Survived 4 Nor’easters
Not only has this survived 4 NE PA winters, some with very heavy snows, it just survived our record breaking March—4 Nor’Easters in just March. Strong winds of up to 60 and heavy snow. I highly recommend this shed.

                            Heavy Duty replacement cover -GRRRReat!
This is in MN. 2 weeks after installing a replacement heavy duty cover , a 60-80 mph windstorm knocked over a willow tree directly on the fabric shed. When the neighbors called I expected the worst. The cover did not rip and the frame work maintained is shape. The tractor was driven out and used to lift the tree off the shed after some initial trimming to eliminate some of the weight of branches and trunk. I again stretched the cover and checked the anchors on the frame work. What a product! I was told the heavy duty cover would stretch and be much stronger. It certainly is. I expect no problems from the snow load in the winters to come.

                              Versatile !
This may seem a little unusual, but I converted my unit into a humidity controlled spray booth for finishing guitars with waterborne lacquer. My finish requires 45% to 60% relative humidity for application, and typically here in New Mexico, I see less than 30% RH. I put a humidifier in the shed, and cut a hole for an exhaust fan. Sure, it voids my warranty, but worth it ! This shed/booth sits in my garage, is well built and sturdy, and I would not hesitate to use as a storage unit outside, even with the high winds we get here. The anchors are solid.

                              A nice storage Shed
I got it fall of 2015. I was able to put all my out door stuff in it. We got rain first then we got 41" of snow over the weekend. It held up and kept every thing dry. Outstanding
