The Ever Sapphire Agapanthus is a high quality new perennial from the Southern Living Plant Collection. It produces bright violet-blue flower clusters that emerge in spring and rebloom into summer. Its early flowering and reblooming nature makes this one of the most prolific bloomers that money can buy. Additionally, each plant will expand into clumps of numerous plants. Each 1 capable of producing their own flower stalks. These plant clumps can expand to 2 ft. W. So you can imagine the huge amount of flowers that they're capable of producing at that point. Plant them in front of hedges, in foundation plantings, as accents in mixed garden beds or in container plantings. They're hardy from USDA Zones 8 to 11 and grow best from Full Sun to Partial Shade (we recommend more than 3-hours of direct sun). They prefer rich garden soil with good drainage and should be watered 3 to 4 times per week for the first growing season. Fertilize in early spring with a light application of balanced slow-release fertilizer. These Ever Sapphire Agapanthus plants are well-established in 2.5 qt. (#1) pots. They will tend to be 5 in. tallto 9 in. tall with a wider spread and they are not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
