The R8647B has a conveniently located side-lever tool-free blade release for quick and easy blade changes. This 18V brushless reciprocating saw features an integrated rafter hook for easy storage, as well as a superior ergonomic handle for enhanced user comfort. As always, this RIDGID 18V Brushless Reciprocating Saw is 100% compatible with all RIDGID 18V batteries. The included batteries get up to 4X the runtime of standard lithium-ion batteries and are built for high performance and are protected from overheating, overloading and overcharging through their Triple Protection Electronics design.
