A:  I saw a misleading answer by Power Care that said this is a synthetic oil but the label says synthetic "Blend" which means it's only partially synthetic. And the label doesn't specify the percentage synthetic to conventional either.

A:  Hi, Link. Thank you for your interest in the PowerCare 16 oz. 2-Cycle Oil. The oil should begin filling the top layer automatically when you squeeze the bottle. If it does not then I would recommend returning the oil. I hope this helps! - Jewel

Q:Nowhere is there mixing instructions! Yes, reading the comments I found that 2.6oz to 1 gal gas = 50:1 ratio. Why not put that on the bottle?

A:  Hi, DIYer. Thank you for your interest in the PowerCare 16 oz. 2-Cycle Oil. At the top of the bottle there are markings that show how much oil is needed to be in the resevoir per gallon of gas. I am sorry if those markings did not help. I hope this helps! - Jewel

A:  The answer is on the bottle itself, the customer must do a small bit of deducing but it’s there. We know from the print on the front “50:1” it’s implied 50 parts oil to 1 gallon of gasoline. The manufacturer also provides the measure reservoir that the customer can squeeze to fill up with oil which contains hash marks for how much oil is “50:1”. Now you just need to decide how many gallons is in your gasoline container that you will mix the oil in. If you have a 5 gallon container full of gas, you’ll fill up that reservoir to the “50:1” hash mark and pour into the gasoline 5 times ftttyy equaling 250:5 or 250 parts oil to 5 gallons of gasoline. The bottle makes it super simple to fill the oil bottle reservoir to “50:1” for every gallon of gas you’ll mix it with. I can see how ratios, if not used to working with them, can appear more mathematical than they need to be for this, it’s the measuring reservoir at the top of the oil bottle that’s the instruction and key! Hope that helps
