A:  Hello, this is Gennifer from Lomanco. With the turbines moving parts and the wind speed the product is rated in CFM (cubic feet per minute). This will vary based upon the wind speed. For example, the 14” turbine spinning at 5mph, will have a CFM rating of 415. At 8mph the CFM rating is 741. If the turbine were to stop spinning, it would then be rated in NFA and would exhaust 153 sq. inches of NFA. One 14" turbine will cover approximately 1,028 sq. feet. You just want to make sure that what you use is durable enough and approved to use on the roof, we do recommend that the turbine be sealed with any approved roofing cement. A:  Hello, Gennifer from Lomanco here. We would not recommend this application. The 14" turbine will need a 14" round cut out for installation. Since you mention you have an existing 18" cut out, this would be too large of a cut out for the 14" turbine. It may be possible to reduce the hole size, but our Engineering Department may be better to assist you with this. Feel free to call and speak to our Engineering Department at 1-800-643-5596.

A:  Hello, Gennifer from Lomanco here. You are able to purchase our Lomanco turbine top only by contacting a local distributor nearby. If you believe your top is defective, our turbines are covered under warranty against any manufacturer defects (example: turbine making noises due to bearings going out or the top worn through from the bearings going out). If you need to process a warranty, you will need the identification marking from the inside of the turbine top. You will also need the color, exact size and style to process a warranty.
