Americana Water Hose Holder Stand Post with Hose Bib

I am very pleased with the "Liberty Garden Americana Hose Stand Post, Black" and it looks exactly as the picture. It is hollow, so not heavy, but still solid and well made. There was one thing, the information said it came with a "Liberty Americana Hose Hanger", unless I read it wrong. Mine did not so I purchased a generic brand since I could not afford the Liberty. No doubt theirs would have been a much better fit but I will just have to make do. I am looking forward to having my hose neatly put away!

This is a very good weight and should be able to hold a normal, heavy hose. I only have one of those hoses that shrink up and is lighter in weight. I'm not sure if a regular hose longer than 50ft in length would be able to be held by this. Not sure there is enough room. I love that there is a spigot to attach the outdoor faucet to. Less leaning over. It will take a lot of pressure to stick the stand into the dirt based on how hard your dirt is. I like the different holders you can get for the stand. You get that separately. It is very easy to slide on and it will definitely hold.

I needed a way to organize my garden hose and the Liberty Garden Americana hose stand post is an excellent solution. I easily placed the post to the ground and it seems stable on the ground. The round top of the post dents easily, but the post is durable enough to hold my hose. The bib is a practical way to reach further spots in the yard without buying a longer hose, which would be too heavy. The hose hanger fits and stores my hose without having an eyesore in my front yard. With the post I did not have to permanently attach the hanger to my stucco.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. This is absolutely a beautiful piece. It's not just a yard decoration but serves a much needed purpose. It is well made with good material that will last a very long time. It's very sturdy even with a heavy garden hose on it. Assembly was as easy as it gets. It's versatile, sturdy, and beautiful. What more could you ask for? I love this piece and you will too.

This is a simple, pound in the ground hose rack. Only, it's not cheap like most. It's exceptional quality. It's very well made. Looks nice. And, it's so easy to work with. Most of all, for my particular situation, it's easy to relocate when necessary. I actually acquired this as a way to "move" a hose faucet that was down some stairs in our yard up to the higher patio level so we could just use the patio hose without going downstairs. But that didn't work out due to issues unique to our situation/location. However, there is a hose in our front yard, adjacent to the porch that has no rack and is just wound around the spigot where it comes out from the wall. The problem with this location is that it requires stepping in mud and dirt during the winter months to get to the spigot and or the hose. This simple, two piece hose stand - both the post and the rack - took care of that issue for us. I used a scrap piece of 2x6 to protect the "foot" of the stand and just pounded it into the ground with the back of a splitting wedge I had handy. It went in easily and is very sturdy. And, if I want to move it later, no problem. And, one could easily use this post & rack to handle other items. Say, the 30 amp extension cord for an RV. Or, to hold a rope near a corral. (Just don't tie your horse up to it!) :-) As I said earlier, this is a great quality item and shows craftsmanship. Unlike all those plastic hose racks that mount on a post or the wall. It is more like something unique you'd by at a craft or street fair. I was very impressed.

I had been struggling to know what to do with my hose. My faucet is across the walk from my garden, and the hose needs to travel under some utility pipes before going across the walk. This post with the hanger solved my problem. When I saw the post and the hose hanger together, I noticed a nice design feature. The hanger has two keyholes to attach it to the post. The post has one pin with a head on it and then one 4mm hex key socket head bolt. The top pin minimizes installation time and avoids having to tighten another bolt. The one hex key socket-head bolt makes secure installation of the hanger easy. The integrated hose spigot on the post minimizes the effort when using the hose. This post and hanger will allow me to have the full length of my hose away from the utility connections and have the hose spigot right with the hose. The elegant look is like icing on the cake. I decided to install the post close of my house. It may not have been necessary, but I had some spare angle iron which I pounded into the ground to give the post some added support. The post slips over the angle iron and is solid. If I want to move the hose hanger, the post will slip off and can be positioned in the garden. This is a much better solution to storage of the hose than the ideas I had. The only problem left is a stiff hose in cold weather.

These stand alone hose hangers are very easy to use. No drilling, no tap cons or other screws. Push the tine into the ground, hang the hose and walk away. The post on this one has a built in hose bibb. And the post appears to be designed for multiple hanger parts. The hose cradle screws to the post. Oddly there was no allen wrench included... so maybe check your packaging upon checkout?

I have been looking for something to use to put garden hose where I need it, not 20' away on the fence. I thought and looked at different options, even this product but just never did anything not knowing how it would work. It was just what I was looking for. I can now have the hose next to the hose spigot. O added a Hampton Bay Hose holder to it and now, finally I have what I wanted...It works GREAT!!! Easy to install. Powder coated so it wont rust. Even has the mounting screws for Hose Holder already installed.

My husband is concerned that the ground stake isn't long enough - but time will tell. So far, it came in perfect condition in a huge box, looks great with the black powder coating, nice finial at the top and really cool faucets on the post. I was able to stomp it into the ground but had to get help to attach the hoses and valve to the hardware. Everything attached perfectly, no leaks and when we added the hanger, it looks really great. Nice not to have the hose on the ground anymore.
