Purchased to reorganize all of our indoor holiday decor. Bins are sturdy and the lids are hefty so no worries when stacking. The lids have "security" features to ensure they don't slide off or you can zip-tie thru the open loop to secure top to bottom. We also have had a few of these for years as garage storage. They are holding up well.

Strong and Stacks Well
I purchased three of these for our board game collection. It's easy to see which games are in each of the totes because they're clear. They stack well and there's no sign of them crushing under the weight that's on top of them. Take a look at the picture. I've had these stacked for about three weeks.

imperfections but so far so good
the bottom of this bin doesn't seem as strong as the matching black bins, however these don't have the awful smell the black bins have.

The HDX 27 gal clear storage box is a great storage solution for your house or the garage. I store this in the garage and like being able to see the content as opposed to my other black 27 gal black ones which I have to label/mislabel/relabel. The box is sturdy and strong and the lid has a tight fit. The size is good to handle a lot of stuff with a small foot print. Two fit side-by-side on the garage shelf (72Hx48Wx24D), so the 24 inch depth is enough for it, as it hangs out only a little from the front, about 3-4 inches. If your shelf’s depth is less than 24 inches (many in the market are 18 inches), you would need to store horizontally. If the shelves’ height is less than 16 inches, it may not fit. Overall, this is a great storage solution that would last you many years and things would not get lost into a void as you can see the content without having to open it.

HDX 27 GAL. CLEAR BASE STORAGE TOTE WITH YELLOW LID, CLEAR/YELLOW Is a stackable tote that is compatible with other HDX 27 GAL. totes it seems to be made very well, but not as thick plastic as others have been in the past. We plan on storing our excess Christmas decorations. I plan on using some supports inside so that I can put a shelf inside to store things without stacking upon other things. Overall very satisfied with item.

The HDX 27 Gallon Storage Tote is the perfect size for the DIYer. This tote is large enough to hold all of my house painting and drywall tools. I got this one to hold my paint trays, spare paint rollers, roller handles, drywall mud pan, taping knives, sanding tools, drops clothes and etc. It lets me put everything I need to repair drywall and paint in one place so that I don’t have to look all over the place to find them. I had to hurry and put my painting supplies in this tote because my wife wanted to claim it for her stuff when she saw how large it was.
The HDX totes are really nice, they stack well and they last for years; I highly recommend them.

I was in need of a larger tote for keeping items in my garage and for sometimes taking them in my truck. I picked up a 17 gallon and 27 gallon tote by HDX and they are both great. This tote has clear sides so I can see what is inside before I open it. The size is quite large, but not gigantic so it fits against garage wall without blocking us parking. It also fits inside the back of my truck with my cover on.
I included a picture comparing it to the 17 gallon tote and showing it's size compared to gallons of paint.

We have been switching out all of the assorted totes that we have been using and getting this style . I find that they stack better,are more bend resistant and are designed to maximize space. I can't tell you how many totes have collapsed on us in the past. Currently we have about 20 of this style and as we move things around in the basement, we are switching over. I decided to use this particular one to store all my painting supplies. Being clear,I can easily see what's in it.

This is a great, large-sized tote with a bright yellow cover and clear bottom. The clear bottom is especially helpful so that you can see what you have inside without having to open up the tote. I have both clear and solid-colored totes and use them for different purposes depending on whether I want to see what is inside. I suppose it is similar to choosing kitchen cabinets with solid doors or with glass doors.
The pictures show the length, width, and depth of the tote. I also took a picture that show that 15 rolls of toilet tissue would easily fit within the tote and another picture to show that another layer of toilet tissue could be easily laid right on top of it because of its large capacity.
The tote is very well constructed, is rugged, and is sturdy. Should last for many years to come.
