Q:How far does the nail penetrate? Need to know the minimum thickness board they can be nailed to without poking through.

Answer This Question

A:  The nail is angled so it will penetrate through 1 of board thickness. It would just start to poke through a 1 board.

by|Dec 16, 2023

A:  Hi, these nails are 1.95" long so any board thickness 2" or more should not have any poke through. Hope this helps!

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi Jason, yes this is to code. The capacity that is UL listed for these is a Max of 8 # 12/2 wires and 2 # 12/3 wires. Two 12/2 and one 12/3 will work for your application. Hope this helps!

Super easy to install and keeps your wires nice and neat. Also, if you have a lot of wires coming down a wall, keeps them organized. Highly recommend

I needed to stack a pair of Romex cables along the middle, load-bearing beam in the basement - to get them out of the way in the "low ceiling" area for framing and dry walling. These definitely did the trick, but they do NOT hold any tension on the cables. So, if you are looking to keep your cables straight and clean, these may not be for you.

            Great product!
These are great for running Romex (NM) cable, especially when the spacing between studs is too narrow and won't allow regular staples. See images for running wires horizontally using 2x4's screwed to the sill plate. I used a 6" piece of 2x4 stacked.

This is a great way to make your job look great. Used on my addition in the bathrooms for the supply and control runs for the 3 light fixtures and fan heater combo also when upgrading the main service panel in the wall semi flush install.

Not sure if it's a regional thing but the staples I received were white with a different clasp type. However they did work perfectly and are great for running cables in really tight spots using the 45 degree nail.

This was my first time using these and it made it so easy to run wire in our attic, which was a very tight space. To make it faster I pulled out the nails that came with it and used our drill with wood screws which was super quick! Would highly recommend these!
