Freezer is dark in less than a week
Nice fridge. So far seems very nice except today (5th day of ownership) the freezer lights are out. It's dark. Hard to see. No idea where the bulb is. Or if there are more than 1. What to do?

Ice dispenser is bane of my good life.
Not life threatening, but if I could throw this whole unit through the window I would. If only I was strong enough and my kitchen was up in a high rise, then I would have some satisfaction from a dramatic explosion when it hits the ground. That drama would match what I gave daily trying to get ice. No ice, no ice, no ice, whirring… explosion of ice all over floor. Or… no ice, no ice, no ice. Open unit, empty and inflight from lame mechanism, replace unit, explosion of ice all over the floor. Out the window with you!!!

                  Response from GE_AppliancesDec 13, 2022
Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to send us your review. We apologize that your icemaker is causing frustration and hope that we can help. If the dispenser on your refrigerator is not dispensing ice, this could be due to clumping ice cubes. If this is the case, the ice cubes in your icemaker may be clumping for a couple of reasons: Low Food Load: The defrost cycle radiates some heat into the freezer. The ice in the freezer will naturally absorb the heat. This will cause the ice to melt slightly during the defrost cycle and may cause the ice to freeze together in clumps. Increasing the food load in the freezer will buffer the warmth from the defrost cycle and keep the ice from melting. Make sure the freezer is at least 3/4 full of food. Lack Of Use: When the ice bin is full, the pressure from the weight of the cubes can cause the bottom cubes to fuse and clump. To prevent this from happening, discard the clumped ice and check the bin periodically to ensure the ice is not building up. If you do not use a large amount of ice, you may turn off the icemaker and stop ice production to prevent this as well. We have also found in the use and care manual some information starting on page 23 that explains more about the icemaker and how to turn it on and off as an option here- https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000585-3_LoRes.pdf&_ga=2.4085552.1238346096.1670855733-127669505.1668533465. We do hope this helps. If you need anything else in the future, please let us know. Take care. Dianna@GEA

Average fridge with a Profile price tag.
The good: it works like a normal fridge and no issues 5 months in. That’s it. The bad: ice maker is loud when making ice. Hums for hours. Ice maker has a hard time dropping ice from the container. I would say 50% of the time you have to open the door and reach your hand in and break up the ice. It’s 2022. We still haven’t figured out this problem? And no matter how you position your glass or how high you put it, it never catches all the ice. Poor design. Just an average fridge. Should be $2k

It stops working in 2 months. Very disappointed
It has been only two month since I started using it. Refrigerator is not cold at all and freezer is generating some cold air but not cold enough to make ice. Turbo function does not work at all for some reason. From day 1, it created very annoying noise all the time. Not just one, two or three different types of noise. And left side French door has not worked properly ever since. Beverage door is supposed to be opened together with outer door by squeezing button and handle together but most of time it never opened together. And one of plastic shelf tray was corrupted or contaminated with some kind of chemical residue. A photo attached. Water dispenser was always spitting extra water randomly so my floor gets wet. I end up turning off that function. Few hundred dollars worth of food already went bad. Very disappointed in this product

Hello. We appreciate you letting us know about your experience with this attractive French Door refrigerator. We truly hate to hear you’ve had multiple issues with the refrigerator, including the fresh food and freezer sections not staying cold enough, the turbo function not working, noises, an issue with the left door and beverage door, residue on a shelf and the water dispenser spitting water onto the floor. We know how frustrating those issues must have been, especially if the cooling issues resulted in food loss. This absolutely isn’t the positive ownership experience we want you to have, and we’d like to assist. After reviewing our system, we do see you have scheduled a service appointment. We are confident the technician will be able to properly diagnose and repair the issues with your refrigerator. If you wish to contact the Service Department for an update, they are available at 1-800-432-2737. Our Consumer Relations team is also available at 1-800-386-1215, if necessary. Regarding the noises, newer models with added features and technology can sound a bit different than the older models you might be used to; sounds can include humming, whirring, popping, etc. If it might be useful for you, we do have a listing of normal noises on page 45 of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000585-1.pdf . The manual also has cleaning details that may help with the residue. For the issue you’re having with water spurting from the dispenser, it is possible there may be air in the line (especially if you have a newly installed filter); running water from the dispenser for about 5 minutes (approximately 2 gallons) should help if that’s the case. Other troubleshooting tips for the model are also available on page 46. Our Refrigerator Design team will be informed of your experience and feedback for future review and improvement; we value your insights, as we always want to ensure we’re aware of any possible areas of concern. We hope this is resolved for you soon, so you can start to enjoy your refrigerator without any further inconvenience. If you do have any other concerns or questions, we are always glad to offer assistance. -Sarah@GEA
Disappointed in quality of plastic drawers
While the Profile Counter depth refrigerator is well designed for cooling, the drawers are poorly designed. They fit cheaply and pull in and out poorly and do not seem to adjust properly. We have owned Kitchen Aid and LG in the past --- both have better quality & fit for their drawers. We are first time owners of GE appliances. Quality of inside materials do not act like they will last! However, the spacing and design of shelves is very good.
