        Answer This Question

A:  It will depend on how active the dog is, and the soil type. We used it with a well behaved 75 lb German Shepherd in a yard with dense soil - lot of clay. Hope this helps

A:  This tie-out stake works for most dogs. If you have an exceptionally strong dog that has tremendous pull force, or a history of breaking away, please try it under supervision first. You can always return the product if it does not work for you.

            Broke first try
Bought it to use for my dog. Tried to screw it into the ground and it broke at the neck. Definitely cheap material.

The stake worked fine. I used it for my heavy exercise rope. It did not come out of the ground.
