Without exception, the best corner braces ever made!
I love these 3-inch galvanized corner braces; I use them for everything around the house. The galvanized finish is nice and smooth; this prevents rust when used outside and paint adheres to the finish easily so they can be painted to match almost anything around the house or shop. The braces are super strong, but are still relatively easy to cut. I even used the cut-off pieces so that nothing goes to waste. For my latest project, I cut the end off on four of the corner braces and attached them to the bottom of a piece of plywood to make a shelf in a wire frame file box. It was quick and easy and works really well. These 3-inch corner braces are a great value. I like having several on hand because they have so many uses.

You’ll have to bend them to square
3 out of 4 were hopelessly out of square. Luckily they’re bendable by hand. Which makes me wonder how well they are going to brace the corners of the table I’m building!

Useful in many tasks inside or outside.
I'm reviewing. Everbilt 1-1/2 in. stainless steel corner brace (40 pack). I got these for odd uses around my house. As far as I can tell These are made of 316 grade stainless steel. They are generally not magnetic at all. If they were a lesser grade like 302 or 304, they would be magnetic to some degree. Legs are a 1-1/2 in. long by 1/2 in. wide. They don't have gussets in the corner, but being 316 stainless at .068 thick. They don't really need it. 316 stainless is used in many food service items and some medical devices. They shouldn't rust when used inside or outside or in most harsh environments.

These are quite strong corner brace's.
In review of this "Everbilt 3 in. Zinc-plated corner brace (40 pack). These are fairly heavy duty in the specifications on the HD site it shows .060 thick these actually measured .096 thick. The package came with 5/8" long number 8 flathead Philips drive screws to install on wood surfaces. They are very rugged can be used for many types of uses. The zinc plating should keep them rust free for a few years outside and most likely forever used Inside. legs are 3/4 in. wide.

      Very rigid
These are great quality corner brackets, or braces. They are very rigid and they are zinc coated so they should withstand rust for a while. This package comes with all of the screws. You would need to install all 40 of the braces in the package. Each brace is about an eighth of an inch thick and they are 4 inches long on each end. The supplied screws are Phillips head.

      Stainless Steel
The Everbilt 1.5" Stainless Steel Corner Brace (40-pack), Silver can be used for a varity of projects, or jobs around the house, and yard. I wanted to make planter boxes to hold some pots of flowers for the summer. I made the boxes out of PVC boards. I was able to make them without any visiable nail holes on the outside. I plan on adding some trim to the top to finish them off. The braces are a sturdy stainless steel. All the screws were supplied. The best part are all the colors/finishes offered by Everbilt.

Small brackets suitable for small projects
I got this to prop up some bookshelves and to provide extra support. The brackets come with screws and are simple to install. I predrilled holes with a drill and then put up the brackets under my shelf. You can fasten both the sides and the shelf itself to the bracket, or you could leave the shelf floating on the bracket, depending on your application. Because I was using this for moveable shelves, I didn't use the top screw. The result is more sturdy and these fit the bill for my needs.

Nice to have in your kit, comes in very handy
These corner braces offer an easy way of reinforcing right-angle intersections. The fastener holes are countersunk, so the screws can sit flush with the surface of the brace. Speaking of the screws - you might want to consider using a bit longer fastener than those that come with the package, depending on what you’re reinforcing. I used the braces to help secure some garden borders I built out of standard 2x4’s, and used longer screws; I just felt that more is better in this application. The zinc plating on the screws offers some rust resistance - but for outdoors use you might want to consider using galvanized or stainless steel fasteners. In my application I’m not concerned with rust, but YMMV. The braces themselves are designed for going on the inside of the 90 degree joint - putting them on the outside will result in a poor fit because there’s a reinforced bit right in the middle of the 90 corner of the brace (see photo) that gets in the way of a smooth fit. Of course you can, perhaps, remove enough material from the application (as in cutting a groove my 2x4’s) to allow the brace to fit snugly. You’re not limited to a 90-degree brace function - you can use machine screws to connect two braces together, thus getting a “U-Joint” - see attached photo. I’ve used this configuration to mount one side of the joint to a wall, and then hung an extension cord on the “U”. Works pretty well. Note that the counter-sink configuration of the holes doesn’t lend itself to using machine screws and nuts; I used appropriate washers and split washers to help secure the connection. YMMV. Fit and finish of the braces and screws is very good. These are handy bits to have in your parts bin.

      We Keep Them Handy
This is a standard zinc plated 2" inside corner brace, handy for a wide range of applications and projects. Thickness is a bit heavier than 1/16" (2mm) and all edges are chamfered with a single stamped gusset at the bend. The plated 3/4" wood screws will finish countersunk in the brace. They are surprisingly stout and will resist deformation. Depending on the attachment material, longer screws will add strength. We keep them around because we use them routinely in both wood and metal projects.
