Easily portable and hot hot heat!
Got this product as a portable option for outdoor living and tailgates. Being able to use small propane tanks was a big plus! This product is easily portable and simple to get setup and started. The 3 settings were great options as this thing had us sweating on the high heat option so be careful how close you get to it! I really like how you can easily grab and go with this product to use where ever you may need!

Simple to use and produces a ton heat
This heater is easy to set up and use. You need to 1lb propane bottles you can get at any sporting goods or hardware store. On each side you will see a red door than opens to a compartment where the propane bottle attach. You screw the bottles onto the nozzles on each side and then close the doors. The instructions are really clear and explain exactly what to do. Next you press in the knob and turn it until it clicks and creates a spark that lights the pilot light. Just keep the knob pressed in for about 30 seconds and then release. Then turn to the HI setting. The two burners ignite, and on this first lighting have some oil that needs to burn off. That process takes about 5 minutes for each side. Then the heating elements will glow bright red and put off an insane amount of heat. I love this heater, it will be perfect for the blind this coming deer season.

    Nice heater, good heat output
This is a good portable heater. It puts out a lot of heat. It's interesting in that we don't feel it so much directly, but you can tell the area is warming up. Since it is safe to use indoors, it would be a good emergency heater. It can use either one or two 1 lb. propane cylinders, or, with an optional hose, attach to a 20 lb. cylinder. You're not supposed to use that indoors though. It is easy to light, though it can take a little bit if it hadn't been used lately. It uses a manual sparker, so no batteries to go dead. It has three settings, and the high puts out a good amount of heat using both of the panels in the heater. It's not very heavy, so easy to carry around. This will be a valuable addition to our home in the event of power outages in the winter. It will also be good for camping or just sitting outside on a chilly night.

Great little heater, lots of heat!
If you're looking for a reliable portable propane heater, look no further! This heater has a sturdy handle and well-built frame, making it easy to transport. The tilting connection feature makes it easy to install propane tanks. The heater ignites effortlessly and reaches high temperatures in under a minute. When it's time to shut down, the process is just as easy. I highly recommend this heater for outdoor activities or emergency heating needs.

A really great portable propane heater!
We're a camping family and we don't stop for winter. However we do tend to rent cabins rather than tent camping on the coldest days. To take the brutal edge off the cold we use portable propane heaters. This new heater is really awesome. Easy to load with 1 pound propane tanks. Easy to start even with the safety features. And it puts out a lot of heat on the highest setting. The low setting will keep a good sized room about 20-30 degrees warmer for nine hours per two tanks. Highly recommend if you spend time outdoors or want an emergency heat source when the power goes out.

    Nice portable heater
This is a nice portable heater. I had to use this on a frozen bathroom and with it set on high and about a hour the sink and toilet was starting to thaw out. I wouldn’t use it in a confined space or a sealed area . You do need fresh air . The unit is nice portable and light weight and can use the small portable gas cylinders or a hose to use the bigger propane cylinders.

Super Nice for Working in the Cold Garage
In the winter I work on my bikes in the garage when the riding season isn't good. However it is really cold. This heater gives a nice 10-20 degree boost within 5-10 feet of the heater. The radiant heat feels great while you work. Must have for any do-it yourself mechanics in the winter. Rated for indoor use with the small green propane tanks. The propane is expensive purchased this way. They sell an adapter to work with a bbq tank. I already had a propane hose from my bbq tank to camp stove. That worked great. They don't want you using the bbq tank indoors. I received this heater for free to write this review.

Gets hot, easy to use, cheap build quality.
I got this as a backup heat source for emergency use and for my garage. My family started using Mr.Heater buddy heaters back when they came out and they have been the gold standard. When I saw this dynaglo design I figured it would be a similar product. It is noticably different while being familiar enough to use easily. The lighting the pilot was easy since the igniter is built into the knob that controls the flame. Even though it is November it isn't cold enough in Colorado to need supplemental heat in my garage yet so I tested it in the house. The single panel lite and burned well and when cranked to high the second panel came to life as well and really puts out some good heat. Very quiet heat at that. So functionally it works great and is easy to use. However the longer I handled it the more I realized that nearly everything is plastic on it except parts subject to heat or handling propane. The shell of the body is pretty flimsy. The metal handle they tout on the packaging is great and all but everything holding the metal bar is still plastic. I wouldn't have this in a trunk or back of a truck and expect it to hold up at all. All of my buddy heaters are mostly metal and noticably heavier in their construction. So take that as you will. And kudos to dynaglo for including approximate run times for tanks other than 1lb cylinders. Makes planning and stocking easier.

Grab N go Model HA18G 18000 Btu propane gas heater will keep you warm.
This Model HA18G green grab n go heater works very well and is easy to use with three heat settings to control the temperature you want. It is 16 ½’’ H 9 ¼’’ D 19 ¼’’ W and weights approx. 13 pounds without the propane tanks plus a nice carrying handle so when you are in a hurry just grab it and go. This works great in my service truck/tool trailer to keep my equipment and me warm. It requires two one-pound propane tanks to use or you can purchase an extension hose to hook up to a 20-pound cylinder. Heats up to 450 square feet and this is a radiant heater, so it warms what it is aimed at like me in my cold shop and just want to work on a small project or melt snow off something that needs repair quick and easy. No batteries required plus a low oxygen sensor and tip over sensor for safety. Also, great to take camping or use on the deck on a cool night. Make sure you read the user’s manual and follow the safety recommendations.

    Great for emergencies!
This is a great heater for emergency heat during a power outage or camping , or any place where heat is not available but needed. The heater uses two one pound bottles of propane but it is more desirable to but the hose accessory kit and use a 20 pound propane bottle. A 20 pound will provide heat for many hours depending on the setting. The heater is rated to heat a 450 square foot room. This is a good item for heating specific areas.
