These Deck2Wall Spacers were exactly what I needed for pergola/shade structure top ledger. Typically these are used for deck ledgers but this worked out great and was a better alternative than stacked washers. Included a very good instruction guide sheet with specs, lag pattern and spacing suggestions for perpendicular joist/beam lengths.These Deck2Wall Spacer "pucks" have a 2 inch outer diameter x 1/2 inch thick, the center lag hole is a little larger than 5/16" bit and I calipered to about .320. I drilled out the center holes for 3/8" lags, documentation says pre-drilling is not necessary but pre-drilled ledger and spacers together. Note: instructions recommend these are attached with caulk sealant for sealing them to ledger and 3 - #8 x 1 5/8" deck screws or equivalent. So you'll need a small box of deck screws and tube of sealant/silicone caulk.Used the spacers to have a 2x8 pressure treated ledger sit off from the stucco garage wall by 1/2 inch to prevent moisture build up and allow circulation around ledger.
