This hardwood floor may be installed over a radiant heat system, as long as the tubing is embedded in your subfloor. The finished floor surface must not exceed 85 degrees F (29 degrees C) throughout the life of the floor. System must be operational and heated for at least 7 days prior to beginning the installation. Use an incremental control strategy that brings the floor through temperature changes gradually, which may include an external thermostat. The most notable differences are the gloss level (Bruce Colony is low gloss while Springdale is high gloss.) Another notable difference is the edge treatment (Bruce Colony features micro beveled top edges while the Bruce Springdale features square top edges.) There may be other feature variations which we recommend reviewing with actual samples from the retailer. We also can never guarantee an exact match with the Gunstock color between both collections.
