Can I rent a Penske moving van?

If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about renting a Load 'N Go moving truck, flatbed truck, or pickup truck. Penske moving truck rentals and moving vans have different rules. You might also read our truck rental page to see if what you need is available at your store.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before selecting a vehicle.
Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the truck, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
