I was loading 80 lb bags of concrete mix into the back of my SUV from a store cart. The young man collecting carts inn the parking lot saw what I was doing and immediately came across the lot to "help". He did more than help. He loaded my entire order for me. Very pleasant young man. Thanks !

Rude employee experience that could have been handled so much differently. I asked for the employee to call someone to a dept where the attendee wasn’t there and her answer was she can’t use the phone. I mean if that’s the case that’s messed up and why couldn’t have she just said I’ll get someone to call for you why give that rude answer.

Gabe and Kim in the flooring department were especially helpful in gathering the proper details for our order and explaining everything with a patient and professional demeanor. We've had excellent experiences with carpeting installation and are now doing ceramic tile.

I bought all the stuff I needed to build a 16 x 16 wood deck from the Home Depot. I bought the tools that I needed as far as Ryobi and Rigid cordless drills and all the deck screws. Had it delivered. I bought a tractor and a snowblower and many other tools over the last five years. I have nothing but good to say about the store. They always treat me with professionalism and courtesy and respect. Home Depot carries a good quality of different types of merchandise to choose from as well. Keep up the good work Home Depot Valparaiso. Thanks !!!

This store always has what i need when i need it. I am proud to say this particular store is my favorite location in indiana. Though things can be a bit hectic, the employees at this location somehow find a way to keep things sane. Keep it up!

I went looking for a new fridge & was able to purchase 4 matching appliances for only double what I would have paid just for a fridge at another dealer...so glad I caught a fantastic sale...b/ 4 you shop ..look online for sales! My salesperson even brought up appliances at another store & Home Depot beat them !!

I recently purchased a nice refrigerator and also some flooring at the Valparaiso store. Jenn was very helpful to me in explaining things about both products and was instrumental in facilitating the purchases. Josh was very helpful to me in transporting and helping me load the flooring into my vehicle. The Home Depot store in Valparaiso is a great store to shop in and has great employees such as Jenn and Josh.

I love how the employees get along with each other. It seems like they are a family and that makes for a great atmosphere. They ask me if I need help (I usually do). The employees give me that little, "You can do it!" boost.

there are a lot of employees there doing little to nothing helping out the customers, there a few that go over and above to help out. some actual walk away when they see you coming or act like they are helping a few member out. I have been there when I asked for help from employee, simply to help me get something off the shelve he stated "This in not my Department, I will get you help" he and his other member just walked away, I never got the help. with the COVID people just want to get in and out, I came in at 6 am so would be able to get the help with little exposure to others, all I got was lip service.

A young man named Max is very knowledgeable of his department. He is very eager to help. He deserves being mentioned.

If you need help in the Home and Garden section of HD be sure to ask for Erica. Dont expect a "big box" experience but do expect a personal no rush experience.

Majority of salespersons do not make themselves available. Shout out to Laurie in appliances who went above and beyond to help us in a dept that was not her area of expertise, she did a fantastic job. After my order left her the whole order fell apart, it was delivered to someone else and we were told WE needed to reorder, not them fix it but we need to fix it.

Always friendly, always helpful. I enjoy coming to this store. They have some wonderful employees.

I had a very positive experience at this store. The sales associate, a "Jenn S." showed me various refrigerators and answered all of my questions. I was very impressed with her cordiality, her dedication to the job, and her knowledge of the refrigerator details. She was very patient with me and showed me various refrigerators on the floor and on her computer. Her competence made the business transaction very smooth. I would highly recommend this store.

I purchase an outdoor umbrella table. The box was badly torn and opened. After returning home to assemble the table, we discovered a dent as well as scratches on the table. We were informed items sold whether open box or display merchandise is all the same price.
