Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools you can rent. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your store. If it's not, check another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool for a month?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and long-term jobs are no problem. You've got options to rent tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do tile saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you buy a new one. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case.
