Went to get lumber. Two guys had the lumber aisle sectioned off while they were playing with the fork lift. We walked around the store after waiting 10 minutes for them to open access to the aisle. Lots of other people were annoyed too. When we returned 20 minutes later they still had the aisle cut off. When I finally got in, they let me load my cart with 8 2x12x8's by myself even though they were right there (I'm a 50+ woman). Then the cashier charged us for 9 2x12x8 instead of 8, that's another $36 the store got from us above an beyond their cheap products and poorly paid useless employees. It's been this way for years and every year it gets worse, but since they've killed off the competition...where else can we go? So these surveys are a just a joke on us.

Great store with great employees. Well stocked and organized. Easy access and parking.

Heavy items such as toilets, water heaters have damage to the packing containers suggesting items have been subject rough handling. in some cases it is difficult to unpack in store for inspection. when finding damage after unpacking at home it is a pain when told by HD to return a 235 lb water heater to store for replacement. In my case I pleaded with HD manager for HD to deliver a replacement and take back damaged one. They did, so I'm satisfied with the final outcome.

Had a really great experience while purchasing paint - Todd was extremely helpful and absolutely hysterical. He walked me through how to use the color matcher then sent me outside to see the colors in the sun. Who would've thought that buying paint could be fun? :)

While picking up pellets Nate was the only employee to offer to help me he loaded my pellets on a flatbed then loaded in my vehicle first time I didn’t have to chase and employee for help great job Nate

This store is great, the employees are super friendly and even remember that you were there before.... kind of like being regulars at a bar. We always have a great experience when we go, Tracy, Sheila and all of the cashiers are so friendly and helpful every time and always make it a point to say hello.... it's the little things.

Attempted to purchase a new range but informed that “None are in stock, all ranges have to be ordered and delivered.” It would take 2 weeks. I couldn’t purchase the floor model. Great customer service.

Another unplanned trip for plumbing repair items and was able to get everything needed. Store is well stocked. Highly recommend the S. Merrimack Home Depot.

the paint guy with the ponytail was very knowledgeable and i walked out learning about the different types of paint.

I get excellent help whenever I shop at the Merrimack Home Depot...especially on weeknights 7-9 pm. Cashiers are so friendly! Two people asked if they could help me within 3 minutes of walking in. If you ask the cashier, they page somebody to help you get stuff in your car. If you return things but dont have your receipt, all you need to do is give them the credit card you used and you get the refund to your card with zero hassle!

Extremely courteous and helpful staff through and through, Most recently with Megan and Lily, check out who were patient and took their time to help me with special purchases and make the visit a nice experience

We love visiting South Merrimack because of “Uncle Dennis” and his friendly visits to our dogs and family. Dennis is such a lovely experience when we go!
