      Extremely Better They ruined me for other Home Depot’s I’m gonna expect this level of service from now on to each and every Home Depot I go to. MJ was patient and kind and very knowledgeable.           Being follow by a security guard through out my visit, makes me feel like a criminal. You cannot catalog a person by the way it looks and/ or dress. If its a a baggy shirt and sports shorts doesn't make me a shoplifter. Do you really expect someone to dreas slacks and a tie to not consider it a shoplifter

              Store Personnel need to be properly trained
              this store did not honor my online coupon for 10% of $100 or more purchase. there as you can see from my receive from Home Depot. When I went to the cashier, I presented my smartphone and told them to scan my 10% coupon she said that she could not do this because store policy was I had to have the actual coupon. I told her it was an e-mail coupon. She called her manager and he also denied me the right to apply my 10% coupon to my purchase

                          Discrimination policies
                          I felt I was profiled and discriminated in violation Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88-352) (Title VII). I bought a item that was under $100 I had an associate take it to the cashier and did not let me finish shop until I paid for the item, I told that the associate I felt I was being profiled, the associate called a manager I talk to a manager she told it was store policy, I advice there should be a sign indicated that certain items should have sign that are visible to the customer. The manager said they just added stickers that indicated that certain items will be walked to the cashier. I did not see the stickers or any signs. I just felt I was being profiled.

I go to this home depot often and never had any issues, until I met Sally. She handled my return and she's obviously very new (she told me she only worked there for 3 months). She looked at my ID and insisted that my ID looks like my SON. I do not have a son. But Sally kept insisting "nope that's not you, that's your son. I cannot accept this ID." She does not have any customer service skills, she has poor communication skills. I clarified with her that this never happened whenever I shop at Home Depot, and Sally told me, "if you go to any home depot, they will question you." WOW HOME DEPOT, is this what all your employees do now? This is how you train your new employees? Instead of asking me for another form of ID, they will just insist that I have children when I don't? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DON'T GO HERE.

                                        1861 was in stock and the aisles/shelves/overheads were all safe and looking good. I am giving the store only 3 stars because I am a big customer service fan in any retail environment. My issue was "customer service" with the 1861 cashier who actually argued with me not over pricing, not over the speed of the ringing up, but over the few words that were spoken between us. My purchase was a couple of 2x4x12 pressure treated boards which I had loaded on my cart with the SKUS facing on the opposite end of where the cashier stood in the Covid-19 shield. As I rolled my cart forward, I simply told the cashier the SKUS were on my end and the cashier said "What?". I repeated what I had said about the SKUS thinking I was being helpful and got back "I know!" with a bit of attitude from the cashier. It went downhill from there when I repeated a few things the cashier asked or said and was told to my face that "I did not say any of that!" We all have bad moments in retail but as an ex-management HD Associate I always tried to teach my fellow Associates to somewhat "chill" and let the customer move on. My overall belief as a manager was always assumed bad customers should be mine to handle and that the Associate should not get into any arguments leading to unhappy customers, unhappy Associates and terrible customer survey scores. In all my 25 plus years of shopping at HD as a customer, I never ever asked for an ASM or FES to discuss any negative interaction with any Associate until today. I always asked to speak to HD Management to compliment those Associates who I believed a "HOMER Badge" needed to go to. Today got to where the cashier seem she couldn't let go being reminded of her own words and attitude and I then felt I couldn't let it go of this back and forth conversation either. I then asked the cashier WHO is the FES and was told "she isn't around. I then asked the NAME of the FES and was told she is standing right over at the next register (Didn't you say she wasn't around ten seconds ago?). The FES listened to my side of my concerns and sadly said this is sometimes how that particular cashier rolls. The FES thanked me for speaking to her about the cashier and I thanked the FES for her time and truthfulness. I am not naming the cashier to be fair since this is only my side of today's event. I think we can somewhat agree no Associate wants attitude from customers and no customer should feel disrespected to a point where a FES, Department Manager, ASM or the Store Manager should be paged. There are enough HDs in our area where I truly can tell potential customers of my 1861 experience and be petty where I do not recommend this store based on my five minute front end interaction. It will be a long time before I step foot back in 1861 and with my luck, I probably will be in this cashier's line again. And unfortunately for me she probably has a photographic memory of people and incidents.

I called and asked if the items I needed were in stock, and he visually checked and confirmed! I told him I would be there in 15 minutes to meet him and for him to help me. He said," I'll be here with your items." What a blessing! He not only was there, but had my items ready and his coworkers helped point him out. In addition, when I spoke Spanish, he answered me in Spanish! Wow! Talk about customer service. Thank you Alex in the Gardening Department! Great job, Great customer service, and quick! I would suggest they take the weak cashiers like Julie, out of the Pro checkout lines, as she is exactly why people don't like Home Depot - she was lazy, unknowledgeable, and rude. Lazy - Refused to lookup SKU on 3 items and made me go back to find (standard stock items on system). Unknowledgeable - (did not even know what primed fascia board was nor could she distinguish 8ft from 10ft) and did not even know which aisle is was from. Rude - After the 2nd time she asked me to go back to find sku because she was too lazy to search, I told her I was not happy but went because she was holding up line, I heard her complaining to another employee while she was standing there - me running back to aisle to take picture of sku and other customers backed up in line. It's one thing to have no service (which is fine) but to have bad customer service is another. Good job Julie!
