Can I rent a Penske moving van?

If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about renting a Load 'N Go moving van, flatbed truck, or pickup truck. Penske moving truck rentals and moving vans have different rules. You might also check out our truck rental page to see if what you need is offered at your favorite store.
Can I choose how long to rent a truck?
Rent a pickup truck, van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract before you choose a van.
Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
