We're very fortunate and blessed to have a store like Home Depot in our area. They offer quality products, availability of product, great pricing, and great customer service from "Hello" to "Thanks for shopping with The Home Depot". Everything that I have purchased at the Home Depot has been ready for pickup or been delivered in a very timely fashion. Big Thank You to the Peoria Home Depot!

Before you go to a competitor, go to Home Depot. For appliances, go to see Dez. She was the best I have had for customer service. Super fun. Everyone was very helpful.

Based on recent experience, I cannot recommend this store. The "expert" in the electrical department was only guessing about my specific need and was really of no help. There was only one full service checkout line open, and when the clerk had to attend to a special request or issue, they left the checkout and those in line had to wait until she became available again. Several clerks were nearby but no one stepped up to help. I also needed help at the service desk (battery core return) and it took three clerks to finally figure out how to process the core return. I'm still not sure they handled it correctly, but I think I am money ahead so they shorted the store - not good for the store.

I was very satisfied with the salesperson, he was very helpful, informative about the product that i was looking for, very nice person

I initially asked an employee for help in the appliance department. She was very helpful and gave me specific directions to find what I was looking for. I got to the aisle and was having trouble finding what I was looking for, when another female employee came up and asked if I needed help. She helped me find the item, as I had overlooked it. She also helped me find something else I needed and took the time to walk me to where the item was and find it for me. I will shop here in the future!

Salesperson Dez was extremely helpful. I called the store to see if they had our item in stock. She literally went out into the garden center to locate the item and put our name on it while we drove 50 miles to the store. Dez checked on us as we were checking out to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. She was very professional and very enthusiastic to ensure we enjoyed our visit.

The store was clean and products easy to find.

Hire some human staff, please. I do not shop at stores that rely almost exclusively on self-checkout lanes. Once I finally did find someone, he was exceptionally friendly.

I have shopped at this Home Depot since it opened in Peoria. I recommend it to all my friends.

This store was very clean during our visit especially this time of year with the scary epidemic. The store Associates were very polite and helpful assisting me in finding the products I needed. Which surprised us because they knew there departments very well. Even if a employee didn't work in a certain department of the store they still helped us untill the correct employee from the other departments would be available to assist. Thanks Home Depot for a wonderful shopping experience.i will recommend in-store shopping and online shopping. We had great experience in-store and online shopping from the Peoria, Illinois store .

Readily available staff and clean

Store is cluttered with stuff in the isles. Wendy in the paint department was unhelpful & rude. We wore our masks, my husband was asking a question about the brush he was looking. She rudely said stay 6 feet away & didn’t seem to care about what the questions we had! We do shop there because it is conveniently close to our house. But the employees are not helpful for the most part!!

The store was clean and the associates were so helpful and friendly. With the help of assistance from an associate we were able to find everything we needed. We will shop there again!

Poor customer service. It continues to decline at this location. I did go late 8pm, but this is no reason for me to have such poor service. Noticed other customers who also were not getting help.

Absolutely SUPERB SERVICE from store manager Charlie, assistant Jordan and finally ProDesk Master Roberto! Each one contributed their personal efforts toward making sure I received exactly what I believed the Home Depot’s email was offering me as a ProX contractor. I was so impressed with this store. I usually shop at two other stores closer to my house (not Home Depot) for paint and garden etc. But I was greeted by friendly employees at every step of my shopping today. I was so impressed that Denny took me to where I needed to find something, and the paint guy was very helpful indeed with his suggestions on what I did and probably didn't need to remodel the swingset. People seemed to be both knowledgeable and happy to be working here and it showed. The store was clean, organized, products I needed were in stock. And in these times, it was important to me that hand sanitizer was available and everyone wore their masks CORRECTLY.

The blonde female employee with the neck tattoo was extremely disrespectful and rude.

Always shop at this store vs. the home improvement stores in the area. The customer service is always above and beyond and better quality products.

The gentleman (Bill) that works in the millworks department is very knowledgeable on the Anderson storm doors. He stated he had two different styles in his own house. We could tell he definitely knows what he is talking about. We special ordered and burchased 2 top of the storm doors.

Friendly helpful staff.

The cashiers and guys who help you load stuff in your vehicles are very nice and helpful. Some management on the other hand are very rude and disrespectful. When an item has a price listed by it, with no other prices posted anywhere around, a customer is going to assume that is the price for that item and should be able to buy the item for that price without having to argue and be berated for it. And then for that manager to demand you leave a good review while continuing to be rude is even worse!

Always have a great experience at this store. Store Employees are so nice and helpful.
