Great place to have questions answered and find high quality materials.

Most of the items I purchase are home-owner related; often simple--light bulbs, batteries, garden maintenance stuff, and, sometimes, paint. The gentleman who is the greeter during usual hours, is always welcoming and helpful. Coming from Portland, Oregon, where we almost "lived" in Home Depot, I'm familiar with the products and the store setup. My husband died recently, so getting advice and/or recommendations on the simple household itemsis valuable.

Kathy was rude for the 2nd time. I returned my Milwaukee nail gun that was less than a year old. Milwaukee told me to return the tool to Homedepot. Stephanie (manager) said the tool was on the list. She sent out for repair. Kathy called and said, your tool is fixed come pick it up. I go to pick it up and Kathy tells me that its not fixed and its not on the tool repair list. Stephanie looked on the list and was the manager that help send it out. When I reviewed the repair paper it said nothing about the tool not being on the list. It was on the list. So Milwaukee tells me to take the tool to HomeDepot. Kathy is rude, Stephanie tells me I need to send to Milwaukee and she can't help. Classic run around. Rude service and zero product and customer support.

Best customer service that I have ever received in a Home Improvement store. Definitely my go-to for friendly and efficient customer service, product selection, and flat rate delivery even for big projects.

While there are a number of choices of hardware stores in our community, I have found the customer service at Home Depot to be the best. It's worth the drive.

I needed a new refrigerator, and it was late in the evening. Walked into the store and was immediately greeted. Went to appliance and found Alissa, who works in kitchens and is a designer. I asked her if she could help me, and without hesitation, she got up from her design and provided me some of the best customer service I have had in a while. She was very friendly, great conversationalist, and very knowledgeable about the products in appliances. She answered all my questions, even asked a few of me, ensuring i am purchasing the right product that fits my needs. She made my shopping experience so easy and painless, as I hate to shop, especially for big ticket items. I have never had a bad experience at this store. Everyone is always so helpful and very friendly. Store is always clean and fully stocked with lots of options.

On every visit to this store during our remodeling project, employees were consistently helpful, walking us to where we were going and ensuring all our questions were answered. We were pleasantly surprised by employees approaching us to inquire if we needed assistance. We will definitely be returning to this store!

Easy to find the mulch out front of the store, had the color desired, received assistance with loading immediately. Clerk was quick to call for someone to assist with loading and checked out quickly.

Staff was exceptionally helpful, informative, and accommodating! They went out of their way to help us with our patio furniture. Without asking, they loaded it onto a cart. When the boxes proved to be too big to fit in our cars, they arranged a rental vehicle and helped load it. I could not be more satisfied with our experience.

Items easy to find, friendly employees and clean store

The customer service at the Normal, IL Home Depot was awesome. Stephanie helped come up with a solution to my plant delivery dilemma and asked Dave F. to assist me. Dana was very helpful with gathering the UPC codes for the plants that I wanted and brainstormed with me to figure out how I was going to get my mulch and plants to my apartment. Dana was also so kind to my therapy dog, Skye, making Skye’s visit enjoyable. Dave F. went out of his way to not only put my plants and mulch in his car but delivered my items to my apartment and carried everything too. And he wouldn’t take the $20 I tried to give him. Dave F. just said, “please shop with us again”. I’m so blessed to have had such a great start to my day of planting. I’ll definitely recommend this Home Depot and will share my great experience with others. We need more kind people like Stephanie, Dave F., and Dana and your customer service folks in this world.

Laura in paint helped me get the correct base for client paint request. I was drawn in by the Behr one coat commercial on TV. The paint she reccrecommed did the job perfectly. I maybe choosing Home Depot paint over the local paint store. Molly served me at checkout and did a wonderful job! Thank you Home Depot, God Bless and happy serving!

Customer service is not like it use to be. I was walking in the store once about 15min before closing and an overnight employee yelled to me that the store was closed. I replied that I still have time to grab one item. I use to love going to this store but not anymore. I have been shopping across the street saving big money.

I had a plumbing problem and I'm not a plumber. A Home Depot employee in the plumbing department, listened to my problem, and suggested how I could fix it, and helped me find the parts that I needed to do it. He took the time to help; not common. I appreciate it.
