Jeremy in the paint department was professional, friendly and certainly knowledgeable about what I needed to perform the job I described to him! Thanks Jeremy, you deserve a raise!

Customer service in the garden department is sorely lacking. The employee who was sent to help me was surly and did not say one word to me during my transaction. He acted like helping me was a BIG inconvenience. The store is well stocked and clean but employees need better training on providing good customer service.

I have been going to this place for years and loving it but a cashier by the name of Sonia as stated on the receipt was rude to me. As I had asked her how much does this costs? Her reply was " I don't know, go over there" I was standing outside of the protective glass shield with my mask on. I took the receipt as she handed to me under the glass shield and I left, she said "Wow".

Lakewood's Home Depot is our favorite location! We normally shop there and will continue to do so, due to their excellent service and associates. Mary in Gardening is awesome! She is the kind of employee that makes Home Depot look good. We were looking for (2) Redwood Planter Boxes size 12" x 40". They were not restocked in their designated space. I asked Mary, she looked on their inventory & saw they had 4. Mary looked carefully and found they were still in a box on the opposite top rack. She got the ladder climbed up, removed them from the box and brought them down for us. She went over & beyond to find our product! She is professional, efficient, and customer friendly. She has a can do attitude and makes no excuses to do her job. We were very impressed with her, well done, Mary. Thank you, Mary! Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience at the Cypress Location on the same day for the same product. Their website said they had 14 & we left with none.

I prefer going to this store because of the employees and location. I live 2 miles from the Cerritos store but will not go there because the staff is not good and so many illegal workers in the parking lot trying to sell food and work. Plus the store is crammed and messy.

We usually visit the surrounding stores instead of this one. But we were making a major appliance purchase and wanted to be near the closest one. By the time we left from making our purchase I was so excited to be getting our first brand new washer and dryer. We waited all week for it to be delivered. And if you woulda asked about my experience before today, I woulda said it was great. But here we are, delivery day. Of course, although we requested a GAS washer and dryer, and we’ were told all throughout our purchase that we would be receiving a gas, what was delivered today? ELECTRIC. And what was their answer when I called to find out how to get the right one delivered??? That we should purchase the right one over the phone today, so that we can receive it by next week!!!! Wth?!?! Like we have another $1,700 laying around to buy another one. While we wait for the manufacture to receive the wrong one THEY had delivered so they can give a refund. I still don’t know when or what is going to be done to receive the right one yet, I wasn’t given an answer by the store or corporate today so we shall see. All I know is What kind of show are you guys running over there? So messed up. Back to the laundromat I go. When I could be doing a load right now. Smh.

I had an issue with a delivery for an online purchase and I was assisted by Jonathan De La Mora, he is a manager at this location. I have to admit, lots of times when I've gone to these types of stores its hard to find good help. Not so here, Jonathan went above and beyond to fix my issue and gave excellent customer service. I couldn't be happier, he was knowledgeable and kind. So rare these days!

The Lakewood store employees are always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The store is clean.

Russ or Ross, I couldn't read too fast because he was too busy with go backs than to assist me in the plumbing section on which putty I needed for a sink ring replacement. I had to ask twice and still don't know if I got the right stuff. He was dismissive, and rude. Not sure if it was because I was female or because his job title that day didn't include helping customers but whatever it was it was unacceptable. Not stopping to address a customer's inquiry while walking and waving your hand at the shelves and saying they are "there" is not an appropriate way to help a customer. There were no other people in the aisle and he was just putting items back in their places. I have seen him there for years and I can't fathom how that attitude for customer assistance has gotten him this far there.
