I cannot say enough about the employees at this Home Depot, especially the Pro Desk. In any store, there will always be the dud, but rest assured, if you ask and have not received the information you need, ask someone else. I have always received the information I need, the product I need and the expertise I need, just be persistent. This HD is the best I have ever shopped at! If what I need is not in the store, they are more than willing to order what you need and keep you updated as to the process of getting that product to you. Definitely, a great shopping experience.

I have shopped at various Home Depots in many counties, and I have found #6668 in Lake Forest to have the most helpful, qualified, respectful and knowledgeable employees of any, including competing home improvement stores. As a contractor, I appreciate the extra service and ability to call an order in and have it ready when I arrive. From the store manager to the cashier, I feel that I am a part of their family, and they truly care about my needs and my time. If they do not have what I am looking for, they will go online and find it, order it, and call me when the product comes in. For a truly enjoyable experience, visit 6668.

The store was very busy with customers. The store employees still had time to greet you with a smile and walk you to the product you were purchasing.

I spent quite some money on dewalt battery operated tools, great choice! Jon from hardware is always smiling, and ready to help. Amit in cash registers, as well. happy to go back and make my necessary purchases for my home improvement or to sell a few thing here and there!

I found exactly what I needed with the help of the garden employees. I was able to finish my shopping smoothly and in a realistic period of time.

The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, I keep coming back for their expertise. I always know I will be able to complete my project with the help of Home Depot and their staff and I really appreciate the effort of all the team members to know their field and help their customers complete projects successfully, no matter what it takes.

If there was a digital assistance, I never saw on. Yes I was able to get assistance, he was helpful. The bathroom could have been cleaner

Apparently there is a new Home Depot policy not allowing clients to use Samsung Pay at the cashier. Surprisingly the machines still take the Samsung Pay transaction but some cashiers don't allow you to do so. In my case the cashier was rude by pushing my cell phone away from the credit card machine. I asked for the policy and but she did not have it nor signs were found. She asked me to get out the line and cancelled my order, so I asked for the manager who did not fix the problem or showed any policy and asked for a credit card if I still wanted to purchase the items. I don't see how a regular credit card can be safer than an encrypted transaction using a virtual number, but anyway the lack of respect and professionalism were the worst.

In a rush at 8:30am to buy paint my contractor was waiting for, Mickey and Wendy in the paint department dropped everything they were doing and matched the sample I'd brought in and mixed the paint. I was out of there in 20 minutes (+/-). They were both very responsive and pleasant. Also, Susie at Returns/Checkout was, as always, very pleasant and upbeat as she checked my purchase out. This is a great store, always well stocked, knowledgeable employees who volunteer their help, etc.

Awesome store and staff

No one wants to take initiative in handling simple questions or ordering items that are available and will keep on passing you off to someone else. I ordered flooring and tile and wasted my time and money with no follow up and have been called to pick up my order only to find it is not store or has even been shipped from the vendor. Store needs better communication and not over promising service they can't deliver- metaphorically or physically.

By far, this is the best HD store in the area. It's always well stocked, easy to pickup online merchandise, and has the friendliest and most helpful employees ever!

I was welcomed at the store with an enthusiastic "hello" by friendly and helpful team members. The customer service in this store goes above and beyond what you experience in other retail stores. I will return to this store to shop in the future.

We were in the store to purchase a few items for a project. Don, the second associate we asked for help was the BEST!! Friendly, helpful, courteous - not enough words to describe him!! The first associate we asked for help must have been having a really bad day. The item we needed was in an unopened box on a high shelf requiring him to climb the ladder to retrieve for us. During this, another associate called him on his phone, then came to the end of our aisle to talk to him and the guy helping us shouted at him, rolled his eyes, and disparaged another department. Totally unacceptable!! Also, we waited for almost an hour for someone to find a lift of some sort to retrieve a set of foldable saw horses from an upper shelf!! Really??? Thankfully, Don kept us updated on the progress, or lack of, even finding me in the store to let me know what they were doing. He was definitely the bright spot in an otherwise poor shopping experience.

Dennis was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and patient, answering all of our questions about the refrigerators and helping us place the order.

After getting different information about how to get paint off our driveway & nearly strangling each other out of frustration our last resort was a pressure washer. Ken in tool rental really helped us relax & suggested simple green & pressure washer. After trying multiple things this was the first to work! He really saved our butts & possibly our relationship, haha. Thank you so much Ken. Definitely coming back in the future!

Help are scarse and the ones by cash register can't leave their position to help, so it's hunting for someone available, a challenge!
