great service at cashier and most departments

This location is excellent. The store staff greets you upon entering the store. They are very courteous, friendly, helpful and professional.

A little disorganized

Can be a little overwhelming as a new customer. However, great customer service, tons of options in product, and the fastest checkout on the planet!! Definitely will be coming back!

Good stock...found what I wanted, but no one to answer questions or help. Self checkout quick and efficient.

The customer service at this store is terrible , had a issue at the store today , I asked to speak to a manager was told that he is not available , asked for any manager at the store was told there are none , asked for contact information to the store manager and I was not given any , it’s hard to believe there are no managers there , I wonder how a business operates with no management on site. The associate in pluming ( Mike) told me to come back at a later date because they can’t get the merchandise from a shelf that is at eye level. Which is the most redicilous excuse I ever heard, why have merchandise in stock if customers can’t buy it because they Can’t get the merchandise down. The whole experience was a nightmare, even though there seems to be a army of employees at the store standing around talking to each other it’s hard to find someone to help , you ask someone standing around in a group of employees and they tell you they can’t help you because that is not their department , they tell you they will page someone to help but no one ever shows up it should never take a 1 hour to get help at a store when your standing there and you have 20 employees insight but they all seem to be from different department and they don’t wanna help because they are too busy socializing among each other.

Angela was particularly helpful and efficient and friendly. The store was neat, well organised, clean and Angela showed and spent time showing and helping us choose dishwasher.

easy in and out and organized and lots of products to chose from. very happy with Angela in the blinds department.

I have always been able to get assistance from the store employees when I needed it. The associates are eager to help. My experience has always been a good one.

Employees are always willing to help! If items are not on the shelves they will make an effort to locate and retrieve items from stock.

I would definitely recommend this store but the location of the store is a little dangerous, which is why I took 1 star off. There needs to be more Stop Signs put in so that people going to the store do not have to dodge the traffic of the drivers in the area. The employees are great and knowledgeable.

Products were easy to find, employees greeted me at the door and gave suggestions on what were the best plants to purchase for my home and bulbs to plant now for spring next year. My cashier Tareya was very nice and helped carry my plant. She asked if I wanted to get a Home Depot card and even though I didn't want one, she wasn't pushy like other stores can be. Definitely will come back.

Well laid out and easy to shop!

I like this store, the parking lot is a little crazy, but the employees are great, and willing to help and assist you from nuts and screws to rugs and flooring.

Overall good experience. Store was busy but was still able to find everything and check out in a quick fashion.

Pat, the store manager, is a great asset to the Hackensack Home Depot Store and provides excellent customer service.

I have been coming here for years, every time I had issues I was tended to with a solution. I came to realize the staff at the store has very little control of certain processes which makes it difficult to help the customers. I would recommend this Home Depot to anyone they do really care about helping you. The parking lot is very hectic but that’s because is a strip mall and is share with others stores.

All the associates from the floors to customer service thrive on a culture of providing satisfaction to their customers. That is why I will be back at The Home Depot

This store is neat and clean and it is very easy to find things. We especially liked the Rebath company that we were hooked up with. Javier and Wilbur did a great job installing my new shower. I always find what I need in this particular Home Depot, and I am glad it is located near my hometown.

Helpful staff

Cashier Sarah was arguing with me in a very nasty way. She called me "poor" in front of everybody. I had to call the manager and complaint about her. I am surprised that a cashier can not complete a basic transaction and prefers arguing with a customer instead.

Every time I shop here I am offered assistance immediately and have a quick and stress-free shopping experience. Very impressive.
