Gave the store a 3 ONLY because there are some sales people who are very nice and helpful. On average the workers are hard to find. When you find one, they are rude and not helpful. For example, Dan in hardware/plumbing department!

Extremely rude management.

For all things Paint and Stain, Miralba is the only name you need to know. She is an expert on paint and stain, and will take the time to explain the differences. My project is turning out great thanks to her knowledge and customer service.

Friendly, efficient, affordable & organized. Safe to shop in during Covid-19.

People were so helpful the day I went there

The manager Nikki and her staff Dan, Catherine and Stephanie really demonstrate exceptional customer service. The store is always clean and the staff is always willing to go that extra mile. Always an excellent experience at this location in Ofallon, IL!

This a decent store and carries most of the items I need. However the inside of the store needs a major reset of products so it looks as neat and clean as Lowe's and Menards which carry similar items . The isle's are often cluttered with impulse products to get you to buy more items. I don't have a problem with that until there isn't enough room to move a cart up/down the isle that may have larger items on it making it tough to maneuver.

I do not expect perfection but I do expect courtesy, knowledge, professionalism, and product availability and that has been my experience every time I visit this particular store. It's a shame to say that this is rare but it is nice to find a business with staff that still sincerely operates with these values.

Needed to winterize my house this past weekend. I needed some guidance on what to get, and Ashley was so very helpful in guiding me to what I needed to get and where in the store to go. My checkout experience was equally good, as Helena was really helpful and polite. I appreciated their help!

There are no workers to help you find anything in the store or to check you out.... All they have are the self checkout registers... they need to put people back to work... hire some people....

THERE ARE NO WORKERS IN THE STORE... I HAD TO CALL THE STORE IN ORDER TO GET A LIVE WORKER TO CHECK ME OUT... THEY HAD 1 CASHIER AND LOTS AND LOTS OF SELF CHECK OUTS... VETO THE SELF CHECK OUT!!!! BUT PEOPLE BACK TO WORK................... MAKE A STAND FOR OUR FELLOW WORKERS...

Love this store, I always find what I need with the help of your team

I shared this on the other review but I'd like to give a shout out to 2 of your agents at the store. We purchased, and will be coming back for more paint for a back porch renovation project. The lady that helped us with the paint, I'm not sure on her name, possibly Bernie?? was extremely helpful and pleasant. We purchased on 8/26 at 1:36 pm if that helps. She answered our questions even while working with another customer. Her smile let us know she was truly happy to help. When we checked out, Shawna was extremely friendly and helpful as we were at the self check and were purchasing spray paint that had to be approved. We joked with her about being retired and were definitely of age she laughed along with us. You have two very personable happy workers. Being a newly retired customer service agent I'm always hyper aware of good customer service and we received good customer service on this visit.

Employee,Helena,was so helpful. They didn’t have what I was looking for, but just like Santa in “Miracle on 34th Street”, she didn’t stop helping me until she found it at another store.

This store is not typical of other Home Depots. Employees could careless if you need help. Went to buy a $800.00 Webber Grill, it was on the floor but needed to remove 4 screws to remove a shelf to fit in my van. I might as well asked them to build a rocket to the moon. They couldn't (Wouldn't) take the shelf off. Then I go in to buy a fuel Milwaukee weed trimmer, said they had 8 in stock then tell me they must have been stolen ?? Anyway I would suggest another location.

Jamie in Kitchen Design is outstanding. He's helping us with our $70K+ new kitchen. He's involved each and every step. I would never had expected this type of service from a big box store. But I was WRONG!!! He's wonderful!

I would recommend Jamie in Kitchen design or Lindsey. Both phenomenal employees. Jamie has designed a $75K kitchen for us. But Tina should be found a place to work that requires no customer service. Because she doesn't have any. I guess when you're spending that kind of money, you expect someone to pretend at least to be appreciative.

This review does not have anything to do with the quality of the employees or the shape of the building...it has to do with the quality of the product that you sold me. 30 bags of the Earth Gro in brown. Every bag was mildewed and discolored. For the people who love working and being outside it makes me sad to look at such poor quality around my house.

Best experience in a home depot! Catherine was super friendly and helpful. She really took the time to help us and made our experience awesome!

If you need someone who is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with paint products and supplies, go to the paint department at Home Depot in Ofallon and talk to Mirabela! She is amazing!

Great place to shop, very friendly sales staff, and Home Depot always seems to have what you are looking for at competitive prices.

Is a clean store and easy to find what your looking for but some of the wondering employees didn't know much about there area

I've been using this store for almost 25 years. Usually it is self serve or I had to search for assistance - that was OK, I usually had the Cashier to provide support for my purchase - like find a price or call for help. I had not been in for a couple of weeks - because of the cold weather - and went in to get some salt for my water softener. I had a few minutes to spare so I puttered around the store to investigate When I got to the checkout area - there were only Self-Checkouts - No Cashiers. I was able to get someone to put my order for 4 50# blocks of salt - locate in the exit vestibule. With several other choices nearby, I will be going to the other hardware stores before I go to Home Depot. #HateSelfCheckout
