I have been going to this Home Depot since it opened. It has always been convenient. SInce the expansion it is a better, more efficient and much better layout, this is one of my favorite store. Specials and clearance items are on display which helps save time and money. My first choice for my needs. Crew has always been helpful and polite as well as informed.

Home Depot has hit rock bottom. Now you have to show ID to use store credit. They say it's to protect you so no one else can use the card. What if I want to send my spouse, or adult child in to pick up something for me? I can't, I have to go myself. Obviously, using a store credit means you returned something without a receipt and are labeled a thief, you didn't lose your receipt, no, you stole the merchandise and they want to ID you when you make the return and then follow up by ID ing you again when you use the store credit. Honest people don't make returns without a receipt, only criminals do. My opinion, The CEO and staff must all be low life thieves, because it takes one to know one. Honest customers shouldn't have to be inconvenienced because of the actions of dishonest customers. Figure out another way deal with the crooks.

About few month ago. I bought plywood .and I need to cut to half.so I asked one of worker in this department. However. I think he was busy at that time. Or he has bad mood ...I don't know. He said I'm doing something. I will call someone. So I wait for little bit. Unfortunately NO ONE SHOWED UP. and I called again same guy. Looks like ignored me. I was very very upset. I see him all the time whenever I came here..... I hope he doesn't do anymore and other customers.

The Commack Store is my favorite. It is exceptionally well run. In the 15 plus years I have shopped there I have always had a positive experience. It is clean and neat and well stocked as well as full of great employees.

It's difficult to understand how HD has allowed this particular store to degenerate to its current state. On the night of Nov. 5th the store was dirty, messy and generally disorganized. The associates completely ignored me (that's if or when you're able see one or find one). I was recently in a Florida HD, the store was clean, well organized and the associates were relatively pleasant & helpful. Overall it was a depressing experience.

I LOVE this store. It is managed superbly. On quite a few occasions, I have gone to the store looking for a product, but lacking the expertise to know exactly what to purchase. There is always someone at the entrance to ask if you need help finding the aisle for your product. There are plentiful experts in the store who are available with very little waiting to help you find the correct product for your needs. I also love how they handle refunds. They do not quibble or argue about whether you are justified in getting a refund. They show respect and trust in the customer. The ability to get a refund without difficult is one of the main reasons I shop at this store - that coupled with the outstanding expertise that the employees possess and readily share with their customers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. All of the above-mentioned praises reflect on excellent management and hiring practices as well. Thank you to every single level of employee at this store.

Even though the variety of items in some departments are limited (planters for indoor plants, hanging plant items: macro-may), this store is conveniently located, friendly staff member throughout the store and at customer service and the prices are worth the trip! ;)

This is my favorite home improvement store, and favorite Home Depot, to go to in the KC area. The employees are always numerous, friendly and helpful. They’ve always had what I’m looking for in stock, and their locker pick up function is very easy to use.

second oldest and best Home Depot on Long Island. newly expanded and remodeled. Staff that knows what the are doing. Do not expect great service on Saturday, much too busy.

My review is based mainly on the store associates who helped me during my recent visit. I was looking for a gas dryer and was warmly greeted by Taneka who was filling in for someone else. Despite this not being her usual position she could not have been more thorough or helpful. I was given a fully detailed quote so I could compare to other retailers. Even though a competitor beat Home Depot’s price (by a mere $6.00) I returned to make my purchase at Home Depot because of Taneka’s great attitude and service. She was no longer in the department when I returned but I was just as happy being helped by Denise. All of my information had been saved and the transaction took only a few minutes. Great team work ladies!
