The Home Depot Rental Center at Bitterlake

When you're beginning to make the leap into a big DIY project, you might not have all the required tools in the shed or garage. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Bitterlake.

Tool Rental
Our tool rental options expand your toolbelt with the precise tools you require to complete a DIY job. It's not practical to invest in a specialty tool when you're not using it frequently. When you're in the market for a new tool, try it out before you decide which one to get. Whatever your situation, we have just what you're looking for.

Rent Power Tools, Air Compressors, Nailers, and More
Tackle major jobs with reliable power tools and air compressors. Fix that old roof or put on a new one with nail gun rentals. Construct a new wall, shed, or house faster and more efficiently with construction nailers, impact driver rentals, and other tools that suit your job.

Make Painting Easier with Rental Scaffolding and Ladders
Make the most of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage fast and renew surfaces. Scaffolding rentals help you reach elevated areas when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for medium or smaller jobs, so you won't have to wait when you're feeling motivated to check that job off the to-do list.

Load 'N Go Trucks
To meet your transport needs, we keep pickup trucks on hand. You're sure to find the right size for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your trusted source for DIY jobs, it's smart to make us your go-to source for truck rental as well.

Whether you're in need of everyday tools, specialty saws, or industry-specific equipment, we've got you covered. We'll even rent you the vehicle to transport it. Let us help you complete your next project with the perfect tools and transport for the project.

How do I rent a truck or tool?

Stop by your local Rental Center to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You might also check out our tool rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your store. For more on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including terms and conditions for the equipment.

How long can I rent tools?

Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I bring the tools back?

You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.

How long can I rent a truck?

Rent a moving van or truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before you decide on a vehicle.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
