I used these to replace lighter hinges on a residential fire rated door. They came with screws for both metal and wood. They also included the Allen key and two pins for adjusting springs. Worked well for my use.

Exactly what I needed! Easy instructions, just took a little trial and error. I was able to get up to fire code for my area in about 10 minutes per door! Excellent product easy to use!

Extreme caution when blocking up the door so you dont have door dropping down. Use very large screwdrivers (at least two) bottom of door to support the door and have at least one helper to hold door. Take one hinge.

The hinges work very well after all are installed and adjusted. The directions should have detailed how to load the spring to close the door vs open the door.Also it should suggest an amount of tension ( number of holes of twist) to put in each hinge to start and a suggestion on an order to add i

Cheap scratched hinge. Don’t waste your time or money. Spend more money and buy nicer hinge.

These hinges are adjustable, quality-finished, and work as advertised. They rock!, or should I say "hinge."

SOLID AND HEAVY DUTY PROFESSIONAL HINGES! I am really impressed with these. All three are self closing for the price of one. Did I say SOLID AND HEAVY DUTY? Unbelievable value. I am very happy.

So far, they're fine and work fine. Time will tell, though.

It works very well for my operation

The hinge is good and the spring feels good, but the adjustment head and wrench are too soft. The two I installed both stripped and were not adjustable without a little engineering.

These don’t work. I bought three. One the hex screw was stripped and I couldn’t turn it to adjust the tension. The second one had some debris in the pin hole which didn’t allow the pin to be pushed all the way thru. The third I couldn’t get enough tension on the spring to close the door. I don’t think I would have gotten enough tension even with the other two hinges. I ended up with an expensive set of basic hinges. If these would have been basic hinges I could have at least been able to push the pin out when I need to take the door off.

Hinges worked really well. Put them on a solid wood door and door now closes nicely. Hinge tension can be adjusted for how you want the door to close. Great hinges. I would use again if needed.

Really can't find how to adjust and they have been in place for a few years now. Any assistance appreciated.

Listen, it's a hinge. It's spring loaded to automatically close the door. What more do you want. It does it's job. It was easy to load and easy to order. Plus it was a decent price. Ask me how I feel in five years.
