The end of the umbrella pole is threaded so that it can be attached to the pole coming up and out from the center of your table. The problem is when strong winds blow or you just want to leave the umbrella down you have to quick unscrew the umbrella pole by twisting it around with both hands about 20 times to detach the top pole while your head is in the way. The weight of the umbrella might be too much to hold just as it separates from the bottom pole. The crank becomes more difficult to operate as the cloth and all the metal splines come down over your hands and HEAD because of the location of the crank. Very poor design and just down right annoying to operate. I regret I bought it.

Nice college logo on the umbrella. However, cranking the umbrella down its not smooth cheap material. For the cost of this product the umbrella should not have any problems. As a consumer, I'm getting tired buying China products.

The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because, for the price it should have came with a cover.

Nice and sturdy. Bright color. Easy to raise up and down.

Product is well made besides having the State Bird attached to the top side.
