Easy to I stall, like the way you can just slide the shutters off the support, you do not need to unscrew them from the frame support. Satisfied with the traditional look.

As a woman, I thought I would be able to just drill holes and install. Nope! I had to do a little contractor work.... shaving window jamb, planing window sill, etc. The shutters were perfect... the idiot who did the windows did a poor job which made the opening uneven. Overall, I love my shutters and they're very easy to clean and make my basement look very classy! I still need to put the knobs on but it was a fun project for me!

We bought these shutters in March 2019. Our cat kept destoying blinds and curtains in our bedroom. The shutters have solved the problem!! My husband was able to easily install for 2 windows in less than an hour and the shutters look beautiful!

High quality and very easy install. I really liked the color keyed shims that were pre drilled.

This shutter is perfect for our bathroom window. It arrived well packaged and undamaged. The filled strips are pre-drilled for easy install and a barely noticeable when installation is complete. The shutters are smooth finished and wipe down easily and cleanly. They actually make me wish we had additional Windows to cover!

These are relatively easy to install, and look nice. Each shutter section is a defined width, for example, the 31" shutters are all 8" wide and they go up (or down) by 1"-increments depending on the size ordered. The end pieces that mount to your molding/trim are all about 1-1/4", and then there are filler strips that allow you to add additional width on the mounting ends to adjust for gaps in the middle of the shutters. By purchasing an extra set of shutters, I was able to rearrange some of the hinges (just two screws per hinge) to allow three sections to hang from one end-piece mounting. This allowed me to extend the width of the shutters, so that I could span the width of a picture window (see images). It came out looking quite good. It is important to raise the mounting pieces at the end up a little (1/8") on each side to limit the amount of shutter drag on the sill.

I bought the 39w x 20h size. Didn't need spacers. They were easy for me to install & I'm pleased with them.

The product was adequate for my use ... but not wonderful. The instructions pointed you in the right direction, but were incomplete. In sawing down the height, the plastic fragmented at the edges. Recommend a very fine cutting blade to prevent fragmenting. No instructions on where to mount or the dminensions of the latch. I used magnetic door latches instead, which worked very well. All in all, the results were good enough, much less exp naive than other alternatives.

Great shutters... we put them on our downstairs bathroom window, and they look great. Offer privacy where needed and are nice to look at too. It is somewhat awkward holding in/up the little plastic adjuster slats to see how many you need to fit your window, though, so advise to have 2 people do this. Also, you have to know beforehand how many slats are needed before installation, bc they are screwed in there (instructions seem to imply you can add/remove them after... not so much). Measuring the cute white knob and hook can be tricky- have to line up perfectly, and no holes to go by, so be careful and take your time if you decide to install those (optional) Great product and glad we bought it!

The shutters came ready to install, we installed them in 10 minutes, we love them, make our shower room bath, feel private and looks better, a great idea from my Wife!

Wanted something for inside of door, window was just letting in too much light but I didnt want to cheapen the look with tint or curtains, so this was my idea. Looks so nice and adds a charming look to the door.

I originally ordered these to go inside the window but my wife discovered she wouldn't be able to put her knick knacks with the shutters taking up the inside space. Needless to say I had to attach a wider board made of oak to secure it to the window casing (flush with the wall now). In the end it all worked out fine, they are a nice addition to the new room.

I purchased two sets of this shutter style for a large (tall) single window in our bathroom during a complete bathroom remodel. I purchased a 29" X 32" and 29" X 36" set. While shopping I made sure to check the hardware description because I did not want gold or chrome hinges on the shutters, I really did not want to see or notice the hardware. The product description notes "Hinge Finish Family - White Plate". As you can see from the attached photos, one shutter was shipped with white hinges/exposed screws while the other was shipped with gold/faux brass hinges/exposed screws. As I know trying to explain this and have it corrected would have been a total headache and I am convinced that if another set of shutters in the same size were shipped to me they would have the same problem, I took care of it on my own. I removed 16 of the gold hinges and 32 of the screws and painted them white. All in all i probably had 2.5 hours into removing and reinstalling all of the hardware to paint it. Not exactly a good time, especially considering that one windows worth of shutters cost me $150. I would have liked to purchase more of these shutters for other rooms in our house because they do look nice, however I am not willing (nor can i imagine most people are) to spend several hours disassembling, painting and reassembling the shutter hardware to bring them out of the pre 90's gold look.

Purchased this shutter to be the face of a TV cabinet on top of our mantel. It was easy to assemble, and worked out perfectly. We were able to identify it was the right fit because the Home Depot website gave a detailed description of the product with accurate dimensions. The shutter comes with filler pieces for the sides in case you need extra wiggle room during instillation. Classic example of DIY and the ability to re-purpose items to make a custom piece.

There was no paper work with guides for trimming, I had to refer to the online specs for trim. The latch does not hold the shutters closed when any pressure from behind is present such as a light breeze. The pin style hing was clumsy to work with in that if you held the shutters in the center for placement, they fell apart. Instructions and specs would have made the installation smoother. The overall appearance is very good.

Easy to install, look great... you won't miss not having real wood. These absolutely don't look inexpensive. I was really pleased with the product.

as stated... they look great, work great and were perfect for our redone den. follow the instructions carefully and the job is a snap. they make the front of our house look like we just bought the place. great product

The shutters look really great, but to install to correct width of the window it requires fillers to be inserted. There were a few more fillers required to fit than I would have liked so wish they had more options on sizes. But overall they were a great look at a very reasonable price. I plan to order another set for dining room window.

Product is excellent quality. Much more durable as compared to real wood. No painting or maintenance required.

The overall look when the shutters are installed is beautiful. I thought they would be a little easier to install (much easier with 2 people) but overall, love them. And you can't beat the price.

The shutters arrived promptly, packed well, and easy to assemble. Very pleased with the product and the warm, cozy appearance the room took on.

Love the traditional shutters! We hung two sets on each window so that we could open top and leave bottom closed for privacy. Saved thousands instead of buying custom shutters. We bought magnets and attached to the sill for a more custom look and skipped the knobs. Buying more now for more windows....

was very easy to install , went in quick used an electric screwgun but be sure to set your torque not to damage shutter mount . suggest level to get it straight. but please note the way the shutter operates (where the cut out for the shutter operation is my wife says it is upside down , please note it is on the wrong end of the shutter compared to the 30 plus year old ones it replaced ) they can be flipped but that is not easy and takes a little time . but love the look and easy clean up compared to wood shutters.
