Gallon purchased last month and sprayer wouldn't prime after numerous trigger pulls. On inspection tube had a clump of slime at end. Removed it 4 times but kept clogging. Got one feeble squirt out before clogged again. Tried vigorously stirring contents. No luck. Tried blowing through the tube no luck. So at least one jug had gone bad.

I bought this product from Home Depot last year to treat my shower. Fast forward to today and I'm using it to treat my windows and front door where black mold thrives in the Southern humidity. At some point the bottle won't spray, so I opened it.....and it was full of gross, brown mold sludge. I just sprayed my door, window, and shutters with mold. Thanks Zep! :/

I bought this online after using the product in the small spray bottle. HD did not have the small bottle in the store so i kept the small spray bottle and bought the gallon. A couple weeks later, I went to spray this in my shower and noticed the spray was brownish colored....i opened the container and big brown and black blobs pored out of the gallon container...wow! Taking this back today!!!

Great product!

Love this product.

I am expecting the green mold on my siding to not return for a couple years. This review may be a bit premature. Since I have used ZEP products before I will trust this will last. Happy to be rid of mold and mildew.

Clear shell kiss the mold and takes out all the smell. It’s the best I’ve found for this. I wish Home Depot carried it in stores and you didn’t have to order online.

Excellent coverage

Sunroof was left open in the rain in our car and it developed a musty smell. We used this and it took the smell away! Had used before when our basement carpet got wet. Took away the smell and the stain! Great product.

The product left a slight greenish color so I had to scrub it back off. Cannot recommend use of this product.

Product works well to keep mold and mildew from growing on items. I have used it for years on a rocking chair on my open front porch and without it black mold would cover the rocker. I clean the rocker in the fall, spray it with Zep before putting it in storage and spray the inhibitor on it again in the spring before returning it to the porch.

I have used Clear Shell several years to prevent mildew on my “maintenance-free” Trex deck and it really works. I am trying to use it again but there must be old stock that is being distributed to the retailers. Thirteen of the 14 bottles (3 different lots)I have purchased have had insoluble particulates from snowflake sized to large slime strings - sufficient to clog my garden sprayer. Love the product and will keep trying to purchase enough “clear” product to get the job done. I suggest you pour some of the liquid into a glass container to see if it is clear before you start using good. So far Home Depot has been great about exchanging/refunding. Five stars for clear product, one star for latest purchases average to 3 star.

Received very quickly and packaged well. Not sure yet how well the product works as of yet, too soon to tell. Not giving five stars because the sprayer sprayed for maybe 5 seconds and then nothing. Had to buy a spray bottle to transfer product into in order to use.

This is the best product we have found to get rid of mildew in our shower.

It worked well on my mold issue. The fumes are a bit strong, suggests using some kind of protection.

Didn’t do nothing not good I did not like it

Bought this about a year ago for mold in a shower. Couldn't really tell if it worked (another product was also used). Had a spot of mold on the ceiling today and started spraying it when I realized black stuff was coming out of the nozzle. Opened the bottle and it was full of mold. I don't know what the shelf life is supposed to be, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this product is completely worthless and might actually cause more problems. Btw the bottle had never been opened until today.

Finally a mold product that actually delivers what it says it does on the label! Spray it on your problem area, wait a few minutes to let it work and like magic just wipe/rise away.

The product is very effective. I like the fact that it is so easy to use. Ive had it for a couple of weeks. It met and exceeded all my expectations.

ZEP’s Clear Shell is truly a great product. Three years ago, I sprayed Clear Shell on mildewed covered overhead rafters in my unfinished basement. It eliminated ALL mildew quickly with NO reoccurrence. I also use it to clean carpeted mildew spots at work caused from spilled liquids. It works 100%+

I purchased thee remover of mold and applied with some Comet to remove mildew in a front end load washing machine. Clean as new now nothing else worked prior to the Zep Products.
