We had an eight-year-old untreated wooden fence that had never been cleaned. We have several trees, so the fence gets a lot of mildew and algae. We treated following the instructions and used an electric 1750 psi power washer with a yellow (15 degree) tip. Happy with the results. We ended up using two gallons. Good value for the price.

You need at least a 3000 psi pressure washer for this to work effectively on fences. Follow the directions and on a 6" picket, soak the picket with the proper ratio solution then wait 10-15 minutes. Blast all the old mildew and discoloration off with the full 3000 psi with the 40 degree tip - go up and down each picket twice - two on the left and two on the right. Amazing results!

I’m not sure what the expectation is with a product like this but I followed the instructions and it seemed to work very well. My only concern is how long it will last as it does not appear to have any ingredients to help keep the mold, mildew, and algae away. Having said that I will continue to use unless I find something better.

It looked impressive when I was spraying it onto the fence, but I'm not sure it actually did anything to help with my fence washing project.

Bought a 1900psi pressure washer from HD and did my whole patio deck. Then used this Zep the next day, following directions, and I saw no difference. It didn't clean any better than just using water alone with my pressure washer. There's a few green mold/mildew spots remaining that this cleaner didn't even touch. I'll just have to hold my pressure nozzle over them until they disappear. Very disappointed and I'd like my money back.

It cleans wood sufficiently

For the price it does it’s job. However for mold , fungus and pollen residue I’d find something a tad stronger because I needed to reapply often which obviously costs more.

The detergent works great. Can't say the same about my Troybilt Pressure Washer though. Ha.
